Welcome to Tanzania! A Lion King representative will pick you up from the airport and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you will have time to relax and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime! Busy Arusha is an essential part of safari life here in northern Tanzania, and most travelers pass through at some stage.

After breakfast, your Lion King Safari guide will pick you up for a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, the park offers excellent game viewing along the Tarangire River, the main water source during the dry season. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing to your accommodation in Karatu after the game drive.
