On this 6-day safari, the great migrating herds of wildebeests and zebras are situated at Lake Ndutu which is found in the Ngorongoro conservation area and a part of Serengeti eco-system and our main target is from Dec to April. From January it is the best time to witness the calving as they spread out across the short-grass plains and predators are just around waiting for their opportunities to make a hunt. You will experience both Tarangire, South Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara.

Arrival in Arusha
You will be picked up from the airport by a Kiliclimb Africa Safari representative and conveyed to your accommodation in Arusha where you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come.

In the morning, you will be picked up from your lodge in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park, passing through Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees and traditional villages. Enjoy a game drive in the park, known for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe, and antelope, with possible sightings of lions and leopards. After the game drive, continue to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for the Lake Ndutu region in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. The drive takes around 3 hours across the Rift Valley landscape. On arrival, enjoy a game drive across the Ndutu plains, known for the Great Migration between December and April, when wildebeest and zebra gather on the short-grass plains. After the afternoon game drive, continue to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After the game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a full afternoon game drive, ascend the crater and continue to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park west of Arusha, known for its shallow alkaline lake that attracts thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a game drive through varied landscapes of woodlands, open plains, and baobab-dotted cliffs, with chances to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, monkeys, and possibly tree-climbing lions. After lunch, drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari experience.
