Arrival in Arusha
You will be picked up from the airport by a Kiliclimb Africa Safari representative and driven to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you will hopefully have time to relax and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. Busy Arusha is an essential part of safari life here in northern Tanzania and most travellers pass through at some stage.

Your Safari guide will pick you up after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, about two and a half hours away. The park is famous for its elephant herds, Tarangire River, and baobab trees. You may also see giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and leopards, along with rich birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch and a game drive before continuing to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enjoy views of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a game drive, where you may see wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephants, and possibly the endangered black rhino. After the visit, continue through Ngorongoro and enter the southern Serengeti for an afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park set below the Great Rift Escarpment. Enjoy a game drive around the alkaline lake, home to flamingos and over 500 bird species, with chances to see elephants, baboons, giraffes, and tree-climbing lions. After a picnic lunch and game drive, say farewell to your guide and transfer to Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport, or Arusha Airport for your onward journey.
