We do provide 4 x 4 jeep upon request but it is done privately. For group joining safaris we do use 4 x 4 safari vans Our vehicles are clean, comfortable with air conditioners.Sort by:
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Sunstrip's services and I felt compelled to share my overwhelmingly positive experience, especially in light of recent reviews. From the moment I booked my Mount Kenya trekking tour, I was impressed by the level of attention to detail. Rachael the operator went above and beyond to inform me of what was included and excluded and made every aspect of my journey seamless and memorable. The guides and porters were very knowledgeable and kind considering it was a hard trek for me. They took pictures of me and my friends on the summit which was the highlight of our tour. I really enjoyed and can't wait to do it again but next time on Mount Kilimanjaro. I highly recommend this company to fellow travelers who are interested in hiking or just adventure safaris. My journey exceeded expectations and I believe Sunstrip is dedicated to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding experiences. Thank you for an unforgettable adventure.

I went on a mount kenya safari and would not recommend this firm at all.
They charged extra when i arrived in the morning and we also ended up paying for items that should have been included (like transport back to Nairobi).
Additionally, the pre-trek guidance was awful - they didn't provide an accurate itinerary or a list of required items. This meant we had to buy extra stuff when we arrived. We were also very surprised (and disappointed) with the lodgings.
The actual guides and porters were excellent but they work for a different firm.
There are better and professional operators available!! From now on I will only use KATO-certified operators!
