Rogers: Outstanding personal service
Rogers was always quick to respond to our many questions and created a well-balanced itinerary tailored to our wishes and interests. Even during the trip, he was happy to help with additional requests. His personal attention and flexibility really made a difference.
Alfred: An excellent driver and guide
We normally prefer self-driving in Africa, but we were delighted to follow Rogers’ advice and hire a driver-guide. Kampala’s chaotic traffic alone is a good reason to sit back and relax!
Alfred was an exceptionally safe and skilled driver, even on challenging roads. His knowledge of the country, excellent sense of direction and talent for spotting wildlife and birds were impressive. His good relationships with other guides also helped us discover special sightings.
As keen wildlife and bird photographers, we particularly appreciated the specialist local bird guides Rogers arranged in each area. This thoughtful extra added tremendous value to our trip.
Unforgettable wildlife and excellent organisation
The gorilla and chimpanzee treks, along with the other excursions, were very well organised and ran smoothly. Seeing these incredible animals in their natural habitat was truly special.
Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent throughout. The reliable safari vehicle, with its pop-up roof, was ideal for wildlife and bird photography.
Uganda: A hidden gem for nature lovers
During our 24 days, we explored an amazing variety of landscapes, from savannahs and national parks to tropical rainforests and beautiful lakes. The abundance of wildlife and bird species makes Uganda a fantastic destination for nature lovers, safari enthusiasts and photographers.
We felt safe throughout our journey and were impressed by the hospitality, organisation and diversity of experiences. One small tip: bring plenty of memory cards and extra storage space. You’ll need them!
