We booked three trips with Dicky & KT Safaris—all well-organized. Dicky was checking on us, making sure everything was okay!
- Safari at Taita Hills - Salt Lick: This was a life-changing experience—a beautiful safari with a private driver, an amazing place, animals.
- Wasini Island: Snorkeling in the very beautiful Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park.
- Shimba Hills: Safari, hiking to the waterfall, then lunch with amazing views!

We did a 3 day and 2 night safari with Dicky and Peter our driver from January 16 to 18, 2024..it was fantastic! From the wild beauty of the landscapes to the animals encountered and the extra lodges, without forgetting the professionalism the kindness and availability of these 2 men...it was an unforgettable experience...that we will not fail to repeat...always everywhere 20 minutes ahead of other groups...great organization!!.thank you again for everything gentlemen! Avons effectué un safari de 3 jours et 2 nuits avec Dicky et Péter notre chauffeur ..du 16 au 18 janvier 2024..ce fût fantastique !De part la beauté sauvage des paysages les animaux rencontrés et les lodges extras !!sans oublier le professionnalisme la gentillesse et la disponibilité de ces 2 hommes ..c était une expérience inoubliable..que nous ne manquerons pas de refaire...toujours partout les 20mn en avance sur d autres groupes...super organisation !!.merci encore pour tout messieurs ! Great safari. Dick and his driver took good care of our family. We stopped as often as we wanted and Dick speaks French, which was very comfortable for us. I recommend KT & Safaris.

A great trip, perfectly organized. Every Place Dick chose was great. Regardless of whether we are talking about a place to watch animals or a hotel. We felt adventure and full care at every step.
Kenya
We went on a very well organised private safari in Taita Hills and Tsavo East. Working around lodge availability, we travelled from Malindi to Taita Hills, then to Tsavo East, and finally ending in Diani Beach. Dicky, the guide, and Ismael, the driver, were both friendly and knowledgeable -- we didn't just see zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions, and other animals, but also learned a lot about Kenya. Communication throughout was great and we didn't have to worry about planning anything during the tour. At the end of the safari, on request, Dicky organised a day tour to Wasini Island, a magnificent follow-up adventure.
One important note for tourists: card payments are accepted in few places, it's important to plan in advance and have cash up-front.
United Kingdom
We enjoyed our short safari trip (2 nights, from Nairobi) with KT and Safaris. Our game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park were excellent (with lots of lions!). The hike up Mount Longonot was amazing and the morning boat ride on Lake Naivasha was super interesting. The two lodges chosen were very comfortable and had good food. Dicky was always on time for pick ups and activities.
We were pleased to support a small local company and encourage others to do the same. It is good value and nice to know more/all of what you pay stays in Kenya.
However, it is worth noting that as a small company, the service from KT is not as slick or comprehensive as what you might get from the bigger or international firms. The vehicle for our tour was quite old and wouldn't have been suitable for children. Make sure you check exactly what's included when you book, make any expectations very clear and get agreements in writing.
