Why we stay inside Etosha National Park.

A guided tour, we believe, should be about ensuring Your Experience is everything you hope it to be and more. From a wildlife point of view, we use camps located within Etosha National Park so not only do you have the advantage of enjoying early morning sightings hours before other people arrive in the park, there is also the added bonus of the camps' floodlit waterholes which offer nightly spectacles that only the privileged few inside the park can witness. Kathryn sums up the camps in the following phrase: "It is like an inside out zoo; we are the captives and the animals roam free". This means that just a few paces from your rondavel (circular thatched bungalow) you can enjoy a sun-downer safely behind the viewing wall and watch elephant and lion taking a cool drink just a few meters away from you. After dinner, you can return to the seated area and with luck enjoy the true nocturnal animals of Etosha: black rhino, porcupines, owls and leopard and when nature calls during the night, you can take a quick peak to see if there are any animals at the water hole, especially if the lions are roaring! Kathryn often says that "when staying inside the park sleeping is an optional extra - there is just too much going on!"
