They feature four-wheel drive to easily navigate rough, muddy, or unpaved national park tracks. They are equipped with large windows, a pop-up roof for 360-degree photography, a UHF radio system for driver communication, charging sockets, and a cooler box for refreshments.Safari Minibuses (Van): These custom-designed vans are a budget-friendly option, used mostly for smoother park terrains and paved road transits. Like the Land Cruisers, they come modified with a pop-up roof for clear wildlife viewing and photography, large windows, and comfortable passenger seating.Both vehicle types are fitted with safety features including first-aid kits, fire extinguishers, and dual spare tires to handle remote bush conditions seamlessly.
I had a wonderful one-day safari experience with African Bison Tours & Safaris at Nairobi National Park. From the beginning, the trip was well organized and enjoyable. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job helping us spot wildlife while sharing interesting information about the animals and the park.
The game drive was the highlight of the day. We had the opportunity to see incredible wildlife in their natural environment, including African buffalo, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and other animals. Seeing the wildlife against the Nairobi skyline made the experience especially memorable.
