Moshi – Marangu Gate – Mandara Hut

Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and transferred to Marangu Gate. After completing registration and park formalities, begin your hike through the beautiful Kilimanjaro rainforest. The trail is surrounded by lush vegetation, tall trees and tropical forest scenery, with opportunities to see monkeys and colorful birdlife. Continue steadily uphill to Mandara Hut, where you will have lunch and time to relax.

Mandara Hut – Marangu Gate – Moshi

After breakfast, begin your descent from Mandara Hut through the lush rainforest. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and beautiful forest scenery as you make your way back toward Marangu Gate. Upon arrival at the gate, complete the park exit procedures and receive your hiking certificate. You will then be transferred back to Moshi, where your 2 Days Kilimanjaro Marangu Route Hiking Adventure comes to an end. Hiking distance: approximately 8 km Hiking time: 3–4 hours Altitude: 2,720 m – 1,860 m
