Safari summary

On the first day you will drive to authentic Chagga village of Materuni about 15 km from Moshi town with lush landscapes, thundering waterfalls and walks along banana and coffee fields. Materuni is the last village before the start of Mt. Kilimanjaro National Park around 1600M above sea level. You will hike to the waterfalls following a path on coffee and banana fields for approximately 45 minutes while encountering locals along the way and on their field working the land and enjoy the scenery with break taking views along the way and after admiring the waterfalls you will return to the village for a delicious local lunch before the coffee experience. Here you will learn how Coffee is being cultivated;dried, roasted and further processed .You will also be invited to participate on preparation and savour a cup of coffee you helped to prepare.Later in the day you will drive to Arusha city for overnight

Next day you will drive to Tarangire national park from Arusha for a game drive. Tarangire National Park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Around midday you will stop for a picnic lunch and then proceed with game drive until early evening when you will check out of the park and drive to Karatu town for dinner and overnight

Third day you will begin early and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area and descend 600M to the crater floor for a game drive, early morning game drive on crater provides excellent wildlife sighting and photograph opportunity before the sun goes high. Crater is 264sq km in size and it is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and due to its natural borders the crater have abundant of wildlife including endangered African black rhino, zebras, wildebeest, hyena, hippos, buffalo, elephant and cats including lions, jacks and cheetah. Early afternoon you will have a picnic lunch with view of hippos on their pool and later continue with en route game drive and ascent from the crater and then drive into the heart of wild Africa at legendary Serengeti National Park with its endless plain as far as your eye can see and continue with a game drive and make most of the golden hours sundown sighting and photograph opportunity before we check in our accommodation in central Serengeti.

Fourth day waking up on the wild at Legendary Serengeti national park with one of the best sunrise you have ever seen and after breakfast you will start a full day game drive around central Serengeti, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring Seronera river which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts lots of resident wildlife. Central Serengeti is famous for having a big number of cats including lions, cheetah and leopard and big herds of wildebeest, zebras and group of giraffe. On the firth day you will have a half day game drive on Serengeti and after picnic lunch you will exit Serengeti and drive along the Ngorongoro highlands and visit a Maasai village for a cultural tour before driving to Lake Eyasi arriving on early evening and check in your lodge. Around sundown with a local guide take a stroll and explore Lake Eyasi with a beautiful golden sunset on the horizon and watch the fishermen return to dock with their day catch, women cleaning and trading the fresh fish catch and later you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight

The last day you will visit the Hadza tribe for a cultural tour.They reside on the dry terrain near Lake Eyasi, South of Ngorongoro Crater for over 10,000 years while maintain their hunter-gatherer ways of life, they are extremely unique tribe which face extinction as their homeland is being converted into conservation areas and agricultural fields with approximately 1300 members only where about 300 – 400 members still live hunter – gatherer life .They are nomad hunters - gatherers who speak a click language similar to Bushmen of Southern Africa. Later you will also visit the pastoralist Datoga tribe who also reside around Lake Eyasi. They are skillfully iron-smith who make iron tools such as arrows, knifes, hoe and trade with the other tribes including Hadza and later in early afternoon you will drive to African Art Gallery for Lunch before a drive to Arusha where you will be dropped to Airport or Hotel.End of Tour

After breakfast you will drive to Tarangire national park and start a game drive.Tarangire has abundant of wildlife where sighting of big herds of elephants is almost guaranteed with many other wildlife due to presence of river tarangire and buringe lake where animals congregate to drink water .There is also good number of predator with pride of lions but also cheetah and illusive ,early evening you will check out of the park and drive to Karatu town for overnight

Today you will start early and depart at 6:00 am with packed breakfast and lunch and drive about 20 minutes to Ngorongoro conservation area entrance gate and as soon as you check in at Ngorongoro conservation area (8,000sq km), you will be amazed by the beauty of this world heritage site and proceed to drive to crater rim and descend 600M to the crater floor for game and after picnic lunch you ascent from the crater and drive to Serengeti for evening game drive
