Additional tour - Vic Falls - we highly recommend visiting Vic Falls after your safari. 2 nights at Ilala Lodge will give you plenty of time to experience the wonders of the Fall. Go on a helicopter ride, do a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river or if you are adventurous go for bungy jump, river rafting or sliding across the gorge.

Itinerary

Day 1

Moremi

Day 1 Maun To Moremi Unlimited Tours and Safaris Professional guide will meet you at Maun International Airport as you will be heading directly out to Moremi Game Reserve. The distance from Maun to Moremi is about 3-4 hours drive depending on what to see on the way. We will serve a packed lunch along the way. Arrive to find camp already set by our camp staff, there will be enough time for you to relax and refresh, shower then have dinner under the stars before your good night sleep under canvas.

Day 2

Moremi

Day 2 Moremi Game Reserve Wake up early morning for a light breakfast then go for our full day game drive. Packed lunch will be brought along. Later return to camp for dinner before sleeping under the canvas

Day 3

Moremi

Day 3 Moremi Game Reserve Early wake-up for breakfast then transfer to the boat station for boat cruise which will be for about 1-2 hours packed lunch will be carried with you. Afternoon game drives, back late to the camp, shower, dinner around the fire as you will be sharing your daily experience with your professional safari guide.

Day 4

Day 4 Moremi Game Reserve Wake up early morning for a light breakfast then go for your morning game drive. Back to camp for brunch and siesta. Later in the afternoon you go out for another game drive, return to camp for dinner before sleeping under the canvas

Day 5

Moremi

Day 5 Moremi Game Reserve To Khwai Early wake up at around 06:00am for a light breakfast for your last morning game drive in Moremi. On our return we will have brunch then depart to Khwai, where our camp staff will set up our campsite. We will have time to rest, freshen up then go for an afternoon game drive for your introduction to some of the animals in Khwai. Later enjoy dinner before sleeping under canvas. The Kwhai Community Reserve is a testimony to the fact that African communities can manage their natural resources for global benefit and for future generations. The Kwhai is situated between Savuti and Moremi Game Reserve. Since there are no fences,the animals use this area as a corridor.

Day 6

Day 6 Khwai Wake up in the morning for a light breakfast before our full day game drive in Khwai. Khwai is a private concession. Khwai will give us the opportunity to explore the concessions after dark with spotlights. This offers us an opportunity to experience some of the nocturnal animals that are rarely encountered during the day. You will also have the opportunity to explore the surrounding wilderness on foot and enjoy an up close and personal encounter with Botswana’s flora and fauna. Packed lunch and snacks will be carried with us, because we are going to spend lunch time in the bush, and return for a shower before dinner in the evening.

Day 7

Day 7 Khwai Wake up early morning for a light breakfast then go for your morning activity which will be a 3 hour mokoro excursion on the waters of the Kwhai river. Sit back in your canoe and watch as your poler slowly takes you along the channels. Back to camp for brunch and siesta. Later in the afternoon you go out for another game drive, return to camp for dinner before sleeping under the canvas

Day 7

Day 7 Khwai

Day 8

Day 8 Khwai Wake up early morning for a light breakfast then goes for morning game drive. On our return to our Campsite from the morning game drive we will have a brunch. Then afternoon go for cultural interaction, Visit the local village, see their way of leaving, interact with them learn a bit of the local language. This will be a nice combination of activities as you will also have chance to see hand crafts they make for a leaving, return to the camp for some rest, later have dinner before sleeping under canvas.

Day 9

Day 9 Khwai to Savuti Wake up around 06:00am for our desired breakfast then checks out to Savuti , this will be in a form of a game drive. Approximately 6 hours’ drive, packed Lunch will be served en route. On arrival you will find the camp already been set up by our camp staff. There will be enough time for you to relax and refresh, then introduction game drive in Savuti. Later have dinner before our good night sleep under canvas.

Day 10

Day 10 Savuti Wake up in the morning for a light breakfast before starting another day in Savuti area. Today we will search for leopards around Leopard Hill or see if we can find the Savuti Pride out in the marsh area. In the evening it is time for another dinner al fresco under the African skies

Day 11

Day 11 Savuti Wake up early morning for a light breakfast then go for your morning game drive. Back to camp for brunch and siesta. Later in the afternoon you go out for another game drive, return to camp for dinner before sleeping under the canvas.

Day 12

Chobe

Day 12 Savuti to Chobe National Park Wake up early for breakfast and do a morning game drive, then we travel northwards and install our camp near the Chobe River. This journey will take approximately 5 hours. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets. The largest elephant population (+-30 000) in Africa lives in the region and we may have the opportunity to watch herds of elephant drinking at the river. Time for a quick scan of the area before we Arrive at camp in time for a quick shower before it is time for dinner under the stars.

Day 13

Chobe

Day 13 Chobe Morning game drive in Chobe along the river. Back to camp and then we head to Kasane in time for an afternoon river crulse on Chobe River front. This will be a nice change and give you lots of elephants and other animals along the river.

Day 14

Chobe | Victoria Falls

Day 14 Chobe Last day of your safari, we will do a morning game drive in Chobe before we start our transfer to Kasane Airport in time for your flight back home. Optional extra - visit Victoria Falls

Day 14 Chobe to Victoria Falls Early wake up followed by breakfast for our last morning game drive in Chobe River floodplain and experience the abundance of wildlife in the area, then drop off in Kasane in time for your transfer to Ilala Lodge in Vic Falls. At the Falls you have time to visit the Falls after arriving and freshening up at the lodge. In the evening we recommend a sunset cruise on the Zambesi River to enjoy the sunset over the river.

Day 15

Victoria Falls

Day 15 Vic Falls Your last morning in Africa, wake up followed by breakfast for our last morning activity in Victoria Falls (not included). Around 11 hrs transfer to Vic Falls airport for your onwards journey. End of safari Wake up early for a morning activity after a light breakfast and then back to camp for relaxation and delicious brunch. We will freshen up and then have your siesta, followed by high tea and get ready for an afternoon activity. This will be followed by dinner and good night sleep under canvas
