Itinerary
Day 1
Okavango Delta
Day 1 Mokoro Our professional guide will meet you upon your arrival at Maun International Airport, guide you to our official vehicles, and start our trip to the Okavango Delta. Lunch can be arranged for you upon your arrival in Maun, depending on your schedule. When deciding whether to arrange lunch, bear in mind that the next meal will be served when we arrive at the Delta 3 to 4 hours later. Our friendly, professional camp staff — one chef and a camp hand — will welcome you upon our arrival at the Okavango Delta and take you to your already pitched camp. There will be ample time for you to relax and refresh after the long trip
Day 2
Day 2 Mokoro Wake up early in the morning for a light breakfast before you leave on a full-‐day safari. We will bring snacks, refreshments, and lunch along with us, which gives us a chance to walk on one of the nearby islands. Return to camp for dinner and a cozy evening in your comfortable canvas tent.
Day 3
Okavango Delta
Day 3 Mokoro to Kazinkini Early wake up followed by a quick breakfast as we get ready to depart from the Okavango Delta and proceed to Kazinkini. The trip takes about 2 hours, and we will set up camp upon arrival. There will be time to relax before we enjoy dinner, go for a night drive, and come back to camp for an enjoyable safari sleep.
Day 4
Moremi
Day 4 Kazinkini Early wake up for some delicious breakfast as we get ready to explore Kazinkini — a private concession next to Moremi Game Reserve and usually a stunning place in the rainy season, when wildlife move from the Moremi towards Kazinkini. Being allowed to off-road makes life on safari much easier in Kazinkini.
Day 5
Day 5 Kazinkini to Khwai Early wake up for some delicious breakfast as we get ready to depart from Kazinkini on a game drive. Khwai is a private concession that gives us the opportunity to explore with spotlights after dark. This represents a rare chance to see some of the nocturnal animals that you rarely encounter during the day. You will also have the opportunity to explore the surrounding wilderness on foot and enjoy an up-‐close‐and‐personal encounter with Botswana’s flora and fauna. Packed lunch and snacks will be carried with us. We will return to camp in the evening for showers, dinner, and a relaxing African night.
Day 6
Day 6 khwai Full‐day game drive in Khwai. Comes with a packed lunch to be enjoyed under a tree with good shade from the midday sun. In the evening, it’s back to camp for a shower and dinner under the stars.
Day 7
Day 7 Khwai to Savuti Wake up at 5:30am for a delicious breakfast before leaving on a game drive that takes us towards Savuti — about a 3-‐hour trip. Upon arrival, you will have some quality time to relax before enjoying an introductory game drive in Savuti.
Day 8
Day 8 Savuti Wake up in the morning for a light breakfast before starting a full‐day game drive in Savuti — an area that had been without water for more than 30 years but has bounced back in full with amazing wildlife since it recovered from drought three years ago. Packed lunch and snacks will be carried with us so we can enjoy lunch in the bush before returning to camp in the evening for a shower and delicious dinner.
Day 9
Chobe
Day 9 Savuti to Chobe National Park Early wake-up for a light breakfast before we depart on a game drive that takes us to Chobe National Park. More than 50% of Botswana’s elephants are found in Chobe National Park. Packed lunch and snacks will be carried along as the trip is about 5 to 6 hours. Our camp will be set up for us by the time we arrive, so hot showers will be ready and waiting for you before we enjoy dinner.
Day 10
Chobe
Day 10 Drop off in Kasane A light breakfast before a leisurely game drive out of Chobe National Park. The safari ends with our drop-off in Kasane.
