Itinerary

Day 1

Chobe

Day 1 Arrival.
Upon arrival you are met by your Professional Guide and taken to your first Lodge for check-in. Take a cruise this afternoon on the enchanting Chobe river. Marvel at the sheer variety and numbers of aninmals as they come and go to this life giving river. Chobe is known as the home of the Elephants and these giant pachyderms do not disappoint as they present to you one of the best animal shows on earth. Take in the amazing sunset as the sun takes a bow to a day well lived.

Dinner tonight is an all African Affair with a gourmet buffet at your lodge.

Day 2

Day 2
Wake up early to the sounds of Africa and head into the park at first light in an effort to catch the elusive cats still on the move before they settle down for the hot day. Come back to the lodge for breakfast and go out again this time for a mid-morning cruise on the river. The Bird life along the shoreline is phenomenal with over 250 species found throughout the year. Gaze at the ancient crocodiles and the grunting hippos.

Day 3

Chobe

Day 3 Chobe to Savuti
Depart after breakfast for Savuti a place that has been made famous by numerous wildlife documentaries over the years. It is difficult to do justice to Savuti with mere words for it is a place that will remain in your memories for many years to come. A typical day is characterized by early wake up and game drive till brunch and a siesta during the heat of the day before going out again on an afternoon game drive.

Day 4

Day 4 Savuti Whole day game drive in Savuti with a packed lunch to be enjoyed under a suitable tree to give you some shade from the hot midday sun. Back to camp for a shower and then dinner under the stars.

Day 5

Moremi

Day 5 Savuti to Khwai A game drive takes you from one amazing place to another. The Kwhai is a testimony to the fact that African communities can manage their natural resources for global benefit and for future generations. The Kwhai is situated between Savuti and Moremi Game Reserve. Since there are no fences, the animals use this area as a corridor. Night drives and walks are the major draw card in the Kwhai and it seldom disappoints.

Day 6

Day 6 Kwhai Whole day game drive with packed lunch to be enjoyed somewhere along the way. We hope to see lions or cheetah, or if we are particularly lucky the endangered wild dog.

Day 7

Moremi

Day 7 Kwhai to Moremi
A short drive takes you across the Kwhai River into the Moremi Game Reserve, an area that earned its place amongst the World's Top Conservation areas for its role in providing a safe home to the endangered rhinos of Botswana. Take a drive this evening on one of the many tracks and water ways.

Day 8

Okavango Delta

Day 8 Mokoro
A visit to the Okavango Delta is not complete if you do not see the delta from the "Locals point of view". This morning your Guide takes you to the Mokoro Station and you meet your local polers for whom canoeing the waterways is a way of life. You will also do game walks on the islands before setting up camp on an island for a wonderful night out in the Delta

Day 9

Day 9
Mokoro Another day out in the Okavango delta. Take time to relax as your poler takes you on a gentle ride through the labyrinth of channels that only someone who lives here all the time can know. Share stories of Delta life with your poler and take a momentary step back in time to an era where going to the next village meant travelling for at least three days by dugout canoe.

Day 10

Moremi

Day 10
Maun After breakfast you leave the Moremi Game Reserve behind and head to Maun International Airport in time for your flight to Johannesburg. End of safari
