The Northern circuit trip will take you to Northern Uganda. Another interesting adventure awaits you. You will visit women projects and community visits and also visit one National Park, Kidepo National Park. At Kidepo you may have the chance to see ostriches in the wild and many more wild animals like the lions, cheetah, and buffaloes. Later on visit the community Karamojong Manyattas and also participate in traditional dances.

Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1 Welcome to Uganda. You will be picked by our guide at Entebbe. You will later travel to Kampala. Depending on your arrival time you may visit the Uganda Wildlife Centre (Zoo) and Botanical gardens. Stay at Hotel Africana.
Day 2
Day 2 Today travel to Kidepo with a stopover in Gulu another northern Uganda town. This region was hard hit by the LRA Kony insurgency but it is quickly recovering from the scars of war. Tour Gulu and also visit the nearby community projects. Visit Wawoto Kacel Cooperative Society Ltd – which means “Walking together” The cooperative facilitates empowerment of the rural person through development of skills, talent and creativity to improve their quality of life. The cooperative was created in 1997, by a group of HIV positive women. Nowadays the Cooperative is composed by 150 working members producing a range of products in the different categories of embroidery, tailoring, tie and dye, weaving, beads and wishing cards. The art and crafts works produced are sold both on the local and international markets. Stay in Gulu for the night.
Day 3
Day 3 Today after breakfast travel to Kaabong the Home district of Kidepo National Park. Stay at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.
Day 4
Day 4 Today start the day with a game drive in Kidepo National Park. This has been described as the Hidden Gem by CNN. It is home to 550 bird species and 77 different mammals that roam the savannas. You will see a collection of ostriches, giraffes, buffaloes and sometimes cheetahs and Lions. Kidepo Savannah Lodge.
Day 5
Day 5 Today you will visit the Karamojong communities to have a real taste of this warrior tribe. Dance with the community and visit their Manyattas (homes). Historically they were known as expert cattle rustlers but they have since stopped that activity, thanks to government support and community stakeholders. Stay at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.
Day 6
Day 6 End of tour travel back to Kampala. Stay at Hotel Africana.
Day 7
Day 7 Kampala and Entebbe tour depending on your flight home. Inclusions in the price Transport in a 4wd Vehicle/Van. English speaking Ugandan driver/guide. Accommodation as mentioned.
