Day 01

Day 01: Arrival and transfer Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to the Boma hotel (Midrange)/ Airport Guest House (budget)

Day 02

Day 02: Mabamba swamp After your breakfast, prepare for a swamp walk at the Mabamba swamp. This place is one of the best birding destinations where you may encounter different bird species including the rare shoe bill stork that may be spotted. Return for your afternoon lunch at the Boma Hotel and there after proceed to Kampala. Check in at Kampala Serena hotel and refresh as you prepare to visit the Ndere troupe for an interesting cultural entertainment. Return for your dinner and an overnight stay at Kampala Serena Hotel (Up market)/ urban city Blue Hotel (Midrange)/ Hotel Ruch (Budget)

Day 03

Murchison Falls

Day 03: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park After breakfast, we shall depart from Kampala by road to Murchison Falls National Park passing through the famous Luwero triangle where lots of people lost their lives during the famous liberation war. En route visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for the Rhino experience. Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is the only home to the Rhinos in the wild in Uganda. Enjoy a Rhino tracking experience at the Ziwa and thereafter have a lunch break at a restaurant in Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. You will then proceed and enter Murchison falls National Park later in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Parra safari lodge (Up market)/ Murchison River lodge(Midrange/ Budget)

Day 04

Murchison Falls

Day 04: Game drive and Boat cruise at Murchison falls National Park After breakfast, start your day with a morning game drive in the northern circuit of the park most famously the delta region with rolling plains where you may have sights of Giraffe, Lions, Elephant, Buffalo and many antelope species as well as many of the other mammals of the park that include the baboons found near the ferry crossing points after. You will return to Paraa Safari lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls. This is an experience not to be missed. The banks of the Nile are a home to many species. You may see huge Nile Crocodiles, big Pools of Hippos and other wildlife that may come down to take water these include; the monitor lizards, buffaloes, Elephants and many more. Dinner and overnight at Parra Safari lodge/ Murchison River lodge.

Day 05

Kibale | Murchison Falls

Day 05: Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National park the home to the Chimpanzees and the only place in Uganda where you have 98% guarantee of viewing the chimps in the wild, this park also boasts the highest concentration of primates than any other park in the world. You will carry with you packed lunch and be prepared for a whole day drive because of the nature of the roads; Accommodation at Ndali lodge (Up market)/ Primates lodge Kibale (Midrange)/ Kibale forest camp (Budget)

Day 06

Kibale

Day 06: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest National Park After breakfast, we will transfer to Kanyanchu Tourist center for briefing before tracking the chimpanzees at 08.00 am. There is a 98% chance of coming across these habituated chimpanzees. Aside from the Chimpanzees, the incredibly diverse forest is home to over 13 species of primates including the rare L’Hoest, red Colobus monkey, blue monkey, black faced vervet monkeys, grey mangabey, pottos, baboons and also bush babies. A network of shady forest trails provides much to delight botanists and butterfly lovers, while birders are in for a treat with about 335 species recorded including the endemic Prirogrine’s ground thrush. The elusive forest elephant, smaller and hairier than its savannah counterpart, moves seasonally into the developed part of the park, while other terrestrial mammals include giant forest hog, buffalo, and a half dozen antelope species. Proceed for lunch at Tinka’s home, who will serve you with local African food and will teach you how food preparation is done, this will give you an experience of African culture. In the afternoon enjoy a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland where there are a variety of birds and monkey species. Day 07

Kibale | Queen Elizabeth

Day 07: Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National park, we will enter the park via the Northern crater Area. This is truly the most breathtaking scenery in the park with beautiful lakes and rich grasslands which are set deep in the crater valley. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park in the world, from the open Savannah to Rain forest, dense swamps and beautiful crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. The park harbors almost 100 species that include Buffaloes, Hippos, Leopard, Lions, Spotted Hyena and the elusive giant forest hog. There are over 606 species of birds found here including the black-rumped buttonquail, the martial eagle, Verreaux’s eagle owl and African skimmer to mention but a few. The primates include Chimps, Black Faced Red Colobus, Red Tailed monkeys, Black and white Colobus Monkeys, and Olive Baboons. After checking in to your hotel, in the afternoon, we will have a game drive through the park where we will test our chances of spotting the lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, and countless kobs are often sighted. Accommodation will be at Mweya safari lodge.

Day 08

Queen Elizabeth

Day 08: Game drive and Boat trip in Queen Elizabeth National Park We shall set off for an early morning game drive to catch up with early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. This morning, you are likely to meet elephants, grazing hippos, lions, spotted hyenas, bushbucks, leopard, water bucks, stripped jackal and of course the several warthogs plus Uganda kobs after, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxations. After lunch, enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and animals such as elephants, buffaloes may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This boat cruise sometimes referred to as the launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching with over 550 resident species, and game viewing, ideal for the Uganda safari. Day 09

Queen Elizabeth

Day 09: Game drives in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park This day we shall dedicate it to look for the tree climbing lions in the Southern part of Queen Elizabeth known as the Ishasha sector and we shall have two game drives one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. We shall leave early morning and head south as we go through the park, the major objective would be to view the tree climbing lions but a lot of game including; the elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, buffaloes and birds are often sighted. Check in at the lodge and after lunch, go for yet another evening game drive to look for these tree climbing lions before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 10

Bwindi Impenetrable | Queen Elizabeth

Day 10: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park After breakfast, check out of Queen Elizabeth National park and head to Bwindi Impenetrable forest to meet with the walking safaris guide to start the Bwindi forest transverse. There are two routes that can be followed although both routes meet in the forest to become one before reaching Nkuringo. The two walking trails are known as the Ivy River and Kashasha River Routes. The latter trail is the most direct walk. Nkuringo is 13 km through the forest on the Kashasha River Trail. The Ivy River route is ideally suited to tour groups that have vehicle support to either drop or collect them some 7kms from Nkuringo along the Nteko Ridge at the junction for the Ivy River trail with the forest. The trail offers visitors a close up experience of the natural wonders within a rain forest environment. Birds are prolific in Bwindi and your guide will point these out to you during your walk. Day 11

Bwindi Impenetrable

Day 11: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park After breakfast you will be accompanied by your guide to the park headquarters for the briefing at 8:00am before you set off at 9:00am through the tracks in this impenetrable forest to search for the gentle giants. You will go with packed lunch because it’s hard to determine how long it will take you to meet these great apes. However the time varies between 2-9 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. You are advised to carry with you enough water while on the trek as it requires too much energy and the energy loss is compensated by drinking a lot of water. The activity is tedious, it may entail walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the hardships you went through in trying to find them, and you are advised to have on a steady pair of walking shoes, if you can, gloves as well as long sleeved shirts and long pants. In the afternoon if you have energy, you will go for a village walk to see how Ugandans live! Accommodation will be on full board basis at clouds lodge/ Haven lodge/ Buhoma community rest camp

Day 12

Bwindi Impenetrable | Lake Mburo

Day 12: Bwindi Impenetrable forest to Lake Mburo National Park After breakfast, prepare for a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park where you will have a chance to set your eyes on to the zebras and Elands. You will drive through area dubbed as the Switzerland of Africa with cascading hills and valleys. This park is well known for its big herds of Impala, Eland, Zebras and other ungulates. For bird watchers, this is one of the best places to find the papyrus bush shrike and the African fin foot. Arrival in time for dinner and overnight at Mihingo lodge (Midrange)/ Eagles nest (Budget)

Day 13

Lake Mburo | Queen Elizabeth

Day 13: Lake Mburo National Park to Kampala Start your day with an early morning game drive in search for the residents of the park that include the zebras, Impalas, Elands and many more with a variety of bird species. Return for your breakfast and thereafter prepare for a transfer back to Kampala. You will have a stop over at the Equator for photographs and lunch break, thereafter proceed to Kampala.
