Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival and transfer You will be met by our tour representative at the airport who will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight at Boma Hotel (Mid-range)/ Airport Guest House (Budget) on Bed and Breakfast

Day 2

Murchison Falls

Day 2: Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park Pick up from your Hotel after breakfast and drive to Murchison Falls National park, en route visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for the Rhino experience. This is the only home for the rhinos in the wild herein Uganda; enjoy a Rhino tracking experience and then proceed for lunch at Masindi town, thereafter enter the park and proceed for the top of the falls Hike, here River Nile Explodes Violently forming a very powerful waterfall. This is an experience that brings all the senses into play: watch waves of white water tumble hypnotically through this six-meter chasm, listen to the roar, taste the spray on your face and feel the rock shake beneath your feet. Proceed to Parra safari lodge (Up market)/ Murchison River lodge (Mid-range/ Budget) for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Murchison Falls | Queen Elizabeth

Day 3: Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison Falls After breakfast go for a game drive. This park is the Uganda’s largest National Park and measures about 3840 square kilometers together with Karuma and Bugungu wildlife reserve. The vegetation of the park is savannah, Riverine forest and wood land. During your game drive, you will see a variety of wildlife such as Giraffes, Leopards, Elephants, Lions, Uganda kob and many others. Nocturnal species common in this area are; Spotted and Verreaux’s Owls, and a plethora of spectacular Nightjars, such as Long-tailed and Pennat-winged Nightjar, The mind-blowing Standard-winged Nightjar. Return for lunch and then go for an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you may see lots of hippos, crocodiles, elephants. Return to Parra safari lodge/ Murchison River lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day4: Murchison Falls National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park After breakfast head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National park is the most popular tourist destination in Uganda and is one of the oldest National parks in the country with a variety of animal and bird species. Dinner and Overnight at Mweya safari lodge (Up market)/ Bush lodge (Mid-range/ budget)

Day 5

Lake Mburo | Queen Elizabeth

Day 5: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park Go for a game drive in the Park after breakfast, you may see animals like; lions, Buffalo, Elephants, Giant forest hog, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and Kobs. You may also see birds like jacana, shoebill and pelican. Later in the afternoon go for a boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you may spot different animal species such as Crocodiles, Hippos, herds of hippos and elephants sloping down for water as well as different bird species. Return for dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/ Engagi lodge/ Bush lodge Day6: Visit Ishasha, Queen Elizabeth National Park After an early morning breakfast, prepare for a transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This woodland sector is well known for its tree climbing lions. Arrival and check in at Ishasha wilderness camp/ Ishasha jungle lodge/ Savannah Resort Hotel and enjoy your lunch, in the afternoon enjoy a game drive at the Ishasha in search for these tree climbing lions. Return for your dinner and overnight at Ishasha wilderness camp (Up market)/ Ishasha jungle lodge (Mid-range)/ Savannah resort Hotel (Budget) Day7: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Lake Mburo National Park. After your breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. This park is well known for large herds of Zebras. As you enter the park, you will see the indigenous long horned Ankole cattle grazing along the way. Check in at Mihingo lodge/ Rwakobo rock (Mid-range)/ Eagles Nest (Budget) for dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Queen Elizabeth

Day 8: Game Drive, and transfer to Kampala Start your day with an early morning game drive; residents in the park include Zebras, Impalas, warthogs, buffaloes, Giraffes and different bird species including the rare shoe bill stork that may be spotted. Return for your breakfast and thereafter transfer to Kampala. You will have a stop over at the Equator for lunch and photographs, and thereafter proceed to Kampala; Arrival in time for a transfer to Entebbe International Airport to catch up with your international flight.
