Uganda is the source of the world’s longest river, which originates from Lake Victoria in Jinja. This place has got very powerful rapids that will give you a very unique rafting experience.

Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest National Park that lies at the North Eastern end of the Albertine rift valley. This park is a home of various animals that may include huge herds of Buffaloes and Elephants, leopards, lions, Giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, bushbucks, Uganda kob, water bucks, warthogs, Nile crocodiles, hippos and many other animal species with a vast variety of bird species.

On the way to Murchison Falls National Park, there is ziwa Rhino sanctuary. This is a home to the only Rhinos in Uganda.

Itinerary

Day 01

Day 01: Arrival and Transfer On arrival to Entebbe International airport, you will meet one of our guides who will thereafter transfer you to Urban Blue City Hotel (Up market/ Mid-range)/ Hotel Ruch (Budget) for an overnight on Bed and Breakfast basis.

Day 2

Day 2: Kampala to Jinja for full day Rafting After your morning breakfast, meet your guide and start a drive to Jinja for a full day rafting experience. Arrival in time and proceed to the rafting point and start the adventurous rafting activity, one you will live to remember. Return in the afternoon for lunch and thereafter return for another afternoon rafting experience, thereafter prepare for a transfer back to Kampala later in the evening for dinner and overnight at Urban City Blue Hotel (Up market / Mid-range)/ Hotel Ruch (Budget) (FB)

Day 3

Murchison Falls

Day 3: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park You will be picked at your residence by our guide, then start a panoramic drive to Murchison Falls National Park through the famous Luwero triangle. En route visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for the Rhino experience; this is the only home for the Rhinos in the wild in Uganda. Enjoy your rhino tracking experience and thereafter proceed to Masindi town for lunch. Enter the park later in the evening for an evening top of the falls hike at the Murchison Falls where River Nile explodes violently forming a very powerful waterfall. Watch waves of water tumble hypnotically in this six meter chasm and feel the rock shake beneath your feet. Proceed for dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari lodge (Up market)/ Murchison River Lodge (Midrange/ budget).

Day 4

Murchison Falls | Queen Elizabeth

Day 4: Game drive and Boat cruise After breakfast, go for a game drive in the park where you will be able to view different animal species that may include Buffaloes, Elephants, leopards, lions, Giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, bushbucks, Uganda kob, water bucks, warthogs, and many other animal species with a vast variety of bird species that can be spotted during the game drive. In the afternoon, return for lunch and thereafter proceed for the bottom of the falls boat cruise. The boat cruise take you closer to the majestic Murchison falls, this is a very perfect place for you to take photographs. At the comfort of your boat, you will be able to view different animal species such as lots of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and also different bird species. Return to Parra Safari lodge/ Murchison River lodge for dinner and overnight. Day5: Murchison Falls National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After breakfast head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Queen Elizabeth National park is the most popular tourist destination in Uganda and is one of the oldest National parks in the country. Queen Elizabeth National park is a home to different animal species and a variety of bird species; Overnight at Mweya Safari lodge (Up market)/ Bush Lodge (Mid-range) on full board.

Day 6

Bwindi Impenetrable | Queen Elizabeth

Day 6: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park Go for a game drive in the Park after breakfast, you may see animal species like; lions, Buffalo, Elephants, Giant forest hog, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and Kobs. You may also see birds like jacana, shoebill and pelican. Later in the afternoon go for a boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you may spot mammals like crocodiles, Hippos and many others; Overnight at Mweya Safari lodge, Bush Lodge on full board basis. Day7: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha Depart from Queen Elizabeth National park early in the morning after breakfast to Bwindi Impenetrable National, en route visit the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park, known for its tree climbing lions. Bwindi impenetrable National park is located in the south western part of Uganda and is a home to over half of the world’s population of the rare mountain Gorillas; Dinner and overnight at Clouds lodge (Up market)/ Haven Lodge (Mid-range)/ Buhoma community rest camp (Budget) on full board basis. Day8: Mountain Gorilla tracking Take an early morning breakfast, and well equipped with your packed lunch, head to the park headquarters for briefing, orientation and meeting the guides, you will then be separated into groups depending on which gorilla group given. The guide will lead you through the gorilla paths in the thick Bwindi Impenetrable rain forests searching for gorillas. Once gorillas are tracked you will be given one hour interaction and taking photos. After tracking depending on time you may take community walk to visit the Native Batwa community and have cultural entertainment. You will have a second night at Clouds lodge/ Haven lodge/ Buhoma community rest camp on full board Day9: From Bwindi to Kampala After breakfast, prepare for a transfer back to Kampala with a stop over at the Equator for lunch and photographs; Arrival in time for a transfer to the airport to catch up with your international flight.
