Moshi to Magamba Forest reserve

Depart from Moshi and drive to Lushoto through the scenic landscapes of the Usambara Mountains. On arrival, check in at the lodge, relax and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings. Later, take a short walk around the area or enjoy the views before dinner.

After breakfast, drive to Magamba Forest for a guided nature walk and hike. Look for birds, butterflies, moths and two-horned chameleons while learning about the forest. Visit the old German Cave and Jiwe la Mungu, then continue to the Kiguluhakwea and Kwehondo viewpoints for beautiful mountain scenery. Visit a waterfall and, where conditions permit, enjoy a refreshing swim in the plunge pool. After lunch, begin the journey back to Moshi.
