Meet our guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Relax after your flight and attend a detailed pre-climb briefing covering the trek, equipment, clothing, backpack preparation, safety, and altitude considerations.

Rongai Gate to First Cave Camp
Your guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive for 2 hours to Rongai Gate at 1,800 metres. After registration, you begin the 8 km trek, taking 3–4 hours, through the lush forest on the northern side of Kilimanjaro. You will enjoy the peaceful surroundings, birdlife, and possible wildlife sightings. After a lunch break along the route, you continue hiking toward First Cave Camp at 2,600 metres for dinner and an overnight stay.

First Cave Camp to Kikelewa Camp
you trek 9 km in 5–6 hours through the moorland zone. The climb begins with a steeper section as you gain altitude and enjoy views of Mawenzi Peak. You will stop for lunch at the cave area before continuing in the afternoon on a gentler trail toward Kikelewa Camp at 3,600 metres, where you will spend the night.

Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn
After breakfast, begin a rewarding 5 km trek taking 4–5 hours toward Mawenzi Tarn at 4,330 metres. Enjoy breathtaking views as you climb higher toward Mawenzi Peak. You will have lunch after reaching the camp, followed by a relaxed afternoon and evening for rest and acclimatization, with spectacular views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.

Mawenzi Tarn to Kibo Hut
Continue, cross the alpine desert on an 8 km trek taking 5–6 hours toward Kibo Hut at 4,700 metres. The trail crosses the wide saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo, with increasingly dry and rocky scenery. After reaching Kibo Hut, you will have lunch and spend the afternoon resting, enjoying views toward the Kenyan plains and preparing for the midnight summit attempt.

Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo H
Around midnight, begin the final summit push. The 15 km trek takes 12–15 hours and leads through steep terrain toward Gilman's Point and Stella Point. Continue to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres, where you will celebrate your achievement and enjoy the sunrise. After descending back to Kibo Hut, you will have lunch and a short rest before continuing to Horombo Hut at 3,720 metres for the night.

Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Mosh
After breakfast, begin the final 20 km descent taking 5–6 hours through the beautiful rainforest toward Marangu Gate at 1,830 metres. A lunch break will be taken along the descent, before continuing to the park exit. At Marangu Gate, celebrate your successful climb and receive your summit certificate. Your driver will then transfer you to your hotel in Moshi for a well-deserved rest.

After breakfast, enjoy your final hours in Tanzania before your driver transfers you from Moshi to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
