This 6-day Tanzania safari takes you through some of the country’s most remarkable wildlife destinations, combining the remote beauty of Northern Serengeti with the wildlife-rich Central Serengeti and the extraordinary Ngorongoro Crater.
The journey begins from Arusha and travels toward Northern Serengeti, where rolling hills, open grasslands, riverine areas and the Mara River create an exceptional setting for wildlife viewing. During the migration season, this region offers opportunities to witness wildebeest and zebra movements and, when conditions are right, dramatic river crossings.
Continue to Central Serengeti for a full wildlife experience in one of the park’s most productive areas, known for its permanent water sources, diverse habitats and excellent opportunities to encounter lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs and other plains wildlife.
The safari then continues to the Ngorongoro Highlands before the highlight of the final day: descending into the Ngorongoro Crater. Explore its unique volcanic ecosystem, home to abundant wildlife including large buffalo herds, elephants, hippos, lions and the endangered black rhino. Early in the morning, depart from your lodge in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a picnic lunch. Enjoy game drives across scenic landscapes, home to large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various antelope species. After lunch, continue with a transfer game drive as you leave the park and proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Northern Serengeti with a transfer game drive along the way.
