Arusha to Mkomazi
Depart Arusha in the morning and travel to Mkomazi National Park. After arrival, enter the park for an afternoon game drive through its diverse savanna landscape. Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and a variety of bird species before continuing to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Mkomazi Wilderness Retreat.
Mkomazi Wildlife & Conservation
Enjoy a full-day wildlife experience in Mkomazi National Park. Explore the park by 4×4 safari vehicle while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, oryx, gerenuk and other wildlife. Where available, include a conservation-focused experience highlighting Mkomazi important rhinoceros and African wild-dog conservation programs. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Mkomazi to Usambara
After breakfast, depart Mkomazi and travel toward the Usambara Mountains and Lushoto. Enjoy scenic views of rural Tanzania and the changing landscape as you ascend into the highlands. In the afternoon, take a short nature walk or visit a local viewpoint before settling into your mountain lodge.
