This three-day Northern Tanzania adventure combines the remarkable wildlife of Ngorongoro Crater with the unique landscapes and natural beauty of Lake Natron.
The package begins at Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations. Guests descend into the crater for a game drive across its fertile floor, where they can encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. After the crater experience, guests continue to Karatu for a relaxing overnight stay.
The final day provides a different side of Northern Tanzania. Guests leave Karatu early and travel toward Lake Natron, a remote and dramatic destination surrounded by volcanic landscapes and the Great Rift Valley. The area is known for its striking scenery, alkaline lake, flamingos when conditions are suitable, waterfalls and opportunities for cultural experiences. After exploring Lake Natron, guests return to Arusha, completing a short but diverse Northern Tanzania adventure.
