Amboseli National Park

Morning pick up from the airport and drive to Amboseli NP arriving for an afternoon game viewing drive. With snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro ever present in the background on a clear day, Amboseli is the justly famous for its big game and scenic beauty. Kilimanjaro is the highest free-standing Mountain in the world. Game viewing is particularly easy in this park. There is a concentration of animals in the area centered on the dry salt lake at Ol Tukai.

0600 Early start tea and coffee will be served at the lounge, thereafter proceed on a pre-dawn game viewing drive returning to your camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, the rest of the morning will be spent on leisure, lunch. In the late afternoon proceed on a game viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. It is advisable on the second day in Amboseli to do a full day game drive with picnic breakfast & Lunch, but it is optional.

Breakfast at the lodge. Check-out. Drive to Namanga border point where you will be met by your Tanzania driver guide for onward journey to Tanzania. Proceed to Arusha National Park for a game viewing drive in the park. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hatari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. In late afternoon drive to Olerai Lodge for dinner and overnight.

This morning drive from to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch. Tarangire is traversed by the Tarangire River, which never dries up. Being the only source of water during the dry season, it draws hundreds of animals to the park, making wildlife and bird viewing spectacular. The landscape is varied, with grassy savannah plains, swamps, hills and spectacular baobabs. Enjoy a full day in the park with game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House.

On this day you can wake up early for a sunrise game drive to try and catch up with the rare nocturnal animal species as well as the early risers among the diurnal ones. It is a nice time to see animals within a close distance as most game like to line up at the road sides to escape the morning dew. After breakfast at your camp you will then spend the day doing game drives for the whole day within the Serengeti national park Accommodation at Tanzania Bush Camp.
