We visit Arusha National Park for a walking safari and game drive, Tarangire National Park well known for its elephant families and iconic Baobab trees. We also visit Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in Tanzania to see the Big Five and the Iconic Serengeti National Park. Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet & greet. Transfer to hotel. Arusha City, located in the northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, is the safari capital of the country. Breakfast at the lodge. Drive to Arusha National Park for a guided walking safari with an armed ranger. Thereafter you will continue with game viewing drive in the park. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hatari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Breakfast. Check-out. Drive to Lake Manyara. The entire territory of this park is cut through with ground water streams that provide a favorable environment for plants and, in addition, for a multitude of birds (including pink flamingos) and African forest animals. Around lunchtime you will visit the Maji Moto hot springs. Manyara is also home to rare tree-climbing lions. By evening you will be transferred to Country lodge for dinner and overnight.

On this day you can wake up early for a sunrise game drive to try and catch up with the rare nocturnal animal species as well as the early risers among the diurnal ones. It is a nice time to see animals within a close distance as most game like to line up at the road sides to escape the morning dew.
