Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet & greet. Transfer to hotel. Arusha City, located in the northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, is the safari capital of the country. Mto wa Mbu
Breakfast at the lodge. Drive to Mto wa Mbu village for a great cultural experience with an English-speaking guide who grew up in the village. Visit local farms, schools, a kindergarten, local homes, the market and milling machines (2.5 – 3 hours. Strenuousness: low). Enjoy a local lunch served in a lovely banana plantation deep inside the village. Afternoon, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

Breakfast at the lodge. Check-out. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, often described as an "African Eden, you'll encounter a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. It is the only Site in the world with a high concentration of wildlife living in harmony with human communities. Picnic lunch. In the afternoon drive to Serengeti.

On this day you can wake up early for a sunrise game drive to try and catch up with the rare nocturnal animal species as well as the early risers among the diurnal ones. It is a nice time to see animals within a close distance as most game like to line up at the road sides to escape the morning dew. After breakfast at your camp you will then spend the day doing game drives for the whole day within the Serengeti national park Accommodation at Tanzania Bush Camp.

Breakfast at the camp. Drive to Lake Natron. The ride will take you over bumpy paths, through remote Maasai areas with stunning views of the ‘mountain of God’ Ol Doinyo Lengai. Take a little rest at the camp, after which you’ll head to the lake accompanied by your local guide, you’ll explore the lake on foot. The ground is quite slippery and muddy, so be prepared to slowly slide over it in order to avoid falling.

This morning drive from Natron to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch. Tarangire is traversed by the Tarangire River, which never dries up. Being the only source of water during the dry season, it draws hundreds of animals to the park, making wildlife and bird viewing spectacular. The landscape is varied, with grassy savannah plains, swamps, hills and spectacular baobabs. Enjoy a full day in the park with game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.

Breakfast and check-out from the lodge. Drive back to Arusha and transfer to Arusha Airport to catch the scheduled flight to Zanzibar Meet & Greet on arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport [ZNZ]. Transfer to Legendary Zanzibar Beach Resort for dinner and overnight.
