Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet & greet. Transfer to hotel. Arusha City, located in the northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, is the safari capital of the country. Guests embarking on the popular northern safari circuit all stop here to prepare for their journeys into the African bush. Overnight at Karibu Heritage House.

Begin your adventure with an early morning departure to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third-largest park. On this day you can wake up early for a sunrise game drive to try and catch up with the rare nocturnal animal species as well as the early risers among the diurnal ones. It is a nice time to see animals within a close distance as most game like to line up at the road sides to escape the morning dew. After breakfast at your camp you will then spend the day doing game drives for the whole day within the Serengeti national park Accommodation at Tukaone Tented Camp.

Early morning game drive in Serengeti. At midday, you will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch, before embarking on an onward drive to Karatu – a colorful town on the Ngorongoro Highlands located between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater, and whose fertile highlands are ideal for coffee growing. Today guests drive to the Lake Eyasi. Afternoon visit Datoga tribe, who are characteristically proud people and fierce warriors known for their stealth ability. They are skillful and are known for their blacksmith skills, beads work, brass bracelets, and necklaces, while also supplying arrowheads to the Hadzabe. Another cultural feature that distinguishes this tribe from other tribes is their decorative tattooing around their eyes in circular patterns. Overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Guests receive a packed breakfast and then drive towards Hadzabe tribe who are considered one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa with approximately 1,300 tribe members. As a hunter-gatherer society, the Hadzabe have no domesticated livestock, nor do they grow or store their own food. The Hadzabe survive by hunting their food with hand-made bows and arrows and foraging for edible plants. Afternoon drive back to Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
