Just returned home from a 2 week stay in Diani beach Kenya.

Our plans were to book a 4 day 3 night safari whilst there but wanted to book
prior to going. This was our first time to Kenya with my family, so I wasn't sure initially anything about the safari side. We decided to book with Keron safaris and hotels, based on their excellent, prompt, professional and polite manner of Kenny when we were requiring information about the trip.

All money transactions were done with no problems and Farid sent invoices when complete. All aspects of the actual booking and organising were just excellent.

Our Driver Venant arrived to collect us as promised, who was a very polite and great Guy,very friendly and funny who had amazing knowledge and great eyes spotting the lioness and leopards.

We had upgraded to a private jeep and couldn't have wished for anything better we had a land cruiser which was great for seeing the animals and comfort.

We stayed in three different lodges Ashnil, Kilaguni and Saltlick, all of which were fabulous and no problems at all. We even had a lovely bottle of wine from Kenny of which was a lovely surprise.

Every aspect of the holiday and especially the safari was absolute Brilliant I would
recommend Keron safaris and hotels to anyone thinking of going you wont be disappointed.

We are really hoping to return and I will not hesitate to book my next trip or safari
with Keron Safari and hotels in fact I would go anywhere else.

Thanks Kenny and Keron for an excellent time.

We had a honeymoon safari in early Jun-14. We chose the 3 days 2 nights safari to Tsavo East and West, contacted Venant by e-mail and arranged the safari from the UK. Venant was very trustworthy and met us in our hotel in Mombasa as agreed, he explained to us all the necessary things and even when we changed hotels from Mombasa to Diani he agreed to that without any problem. Our guide Mary was an excellent guide, with a eyesight of a hawk, the secret apparently is that he eats a lot of raw carrots!
He was very funny, informative, and made our safari very special. With him we saw lots of animals, 4 out of the big 5, (rhino was on holidays that week), but we had lots of "close" encounters with lionesses, leopards, elephants, giraffes and many others.
The hotels chosen by Steve were very nice, no frills but with excellent views and lots of animals could be seen from the hotels. Lions hill in Tsavo East has fantastic views which make you think like Simba in the Lion's King. The hotel is located in a hill and oversees lots of extension of the park. Ngulia in Tsavo West has pools of waters and you can see elephants monkeys, antelopes and many other animals drinking and resting. Safari van was comfortable, and they had useful things, such as binoculars, and we felt safe in Joseph's experts hands to go to the national parks from Mombasa among the hectic Kenyan traffic. Overall an unforgettable experience, we were completely delighted with the safari!

What can I say, the whole experience was amazing!
Right from the first email I sent to Farid the service he provided was absolutely 1st class. I must admit we were at first a little concerned about transferring money for payments but this was totally unfounded and it all worked well.
We traveled as a party of four friends and upgraded to a land cruiser. Venant answers all emails and queries very promptly and is extremely efficient.
We were picked up as arranged from our hotel by Fred, our driver/guide, who was friendly, helpful and polite. He was always concerned for our comfort and that we were happy at all times and I can't give him enough praise.
We met Venant on route as he likes to meet his guests in person whenever possible, he is a lovely man and kept in touch with us all through the safari.
All the organisation for our 4 night 5 day safari was perfect. The lodges chosen and booked by Venant were all very good and all had their own 'best bits'. We went to, Ashnil Aruba, Amboseli Serena, Kilunguni Serena, and Sarova Saltlik (the one on stilts). Having a cooling swim while watching animals at the waterhole is amazing.
As for the animals and Fred's ability to 'spot' them well I think the fact we came home with between three and four thousand photos and numerous videos between the four of us speaks for itself. We didn't get to see a rhino but that would have been a big bonus anyway with them being so rare. We did see just about everything else you could think of, mostly down to Fred's excellent eyesight! He was on a definite lion spotting mission the last day and he succeeded!
So if you are thinking of booking a safari I have no hesitation in saying BOOK WITH Keron Safaris and hotels and you will not be disappointed!
If we decide to do another safari we will definitely look nowhere else!

My first Kenya trip planned with Keron safaris and hotels was amazing which made me wanna share to everyone. Throughout the 10-day tour, we had travelled Samburu, Lake Borgoria, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara and Lake Naivasha. With the suggestions from Kenny, we had best utilized the travelling time in the most efficient and safe way. The pricing they offered was comparatively reasonable. The most important point is Keron did a very very great job in searching the animals with us during game drives so that we can have a close up for all big 5 during the trip!!! It is a wonderful experience and I can be sure to say that a nice and helpful tour guide can let you have much fun there.

We had a two weeks holiday in Kenya in February 2014 with two families with four kids between 6 and 10 years. We booked our safari with Keron Safaris prior to arriving to Kenya.
We chose a two nights safari to both Tsavo East and Tsavo West. It was quite a lot of driving from Diani Beach and back, but our kids were ok with that. These two parks provide two quite different environments so I recommend that you visit both if you can. More open views (so you see more animals) in Tsavo East, but more exciting views in Tsavo West.
Kenny provided us good information about the available lodges and we were able to choose exactly the ones, which suited us the best.
We chose a jeep per family instead of a van and were very satisfied - we were able to go places, which would have been unreachable with a van and the travelling was also much more comfortable. I really recommend this type of private safari for all families instead of tour operator’s group safaris. You can make your own
choices and the price level is not really much more expensive.

Our drivers were very knowledgeable, proactive and friendly and proving us all necessary information. As a summary a superb experience and we can really recommend Keron Safaris for
anyone visiting Kenya. We’ll definitive book our next safari with them!

Hi - we have just returned from our two week holiday in Mombasa - we booked with Keron Safaris online before we went and this proved to be the best decision EVER! We did a three day two night safari at Tsavo East staying at Ashnil Lodge which is fantastic and then onto Tsavo West staying at Salt Lick.
Booking through Keron Safaris was soooo easy and they were a delight to deal with. They rang us when we were there and were very prompt and efficient. We loved our safari and this made for a fab holiday. Our driver was Venant and he was amazing - he knew exactly where to look and was constantly on the look out for ALL the wildlife. This meant we were the first to get to any sightings and he would then let all the other driver's know where we were. I got the most amazing photographs and cannot wait to get these developed. Many thanks Keron Safaris for making this one of the best moments in our lives bar none! It was an experience that we will never forget. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for best value & experience. Please contact me if you need to know anything about our safari.
