I booked with Bantu Pori Journeys and this was the BEST decision ever.

Baraka Molel was my consultant and he helped to personalize a trip to see and experience Tanzania culture and wildlife. From our first conversation I felt that nothing was too much trouble and he thought of everything and took pride in this process. There were numerous emails, lots of questions from me and he made me feel like I was a VIP. When he had arranged all of the travel itinerary all I had to do was to book my flight, arrive and begin my adventure.

I was told that he would introduce me to a Zanzibar local agent and that I would be in good hands, he would be my 24 hour contact in Zanzibar, and the VIP treatment continued for 3 days.

I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived to the day I left. They thought of the little things and OMG they were brilliant. The accommodation that they chose was great. The tours great. I wanted to visit the local chagga people in Moshi and it was great. At the camps I met people who had been researching where to stay and travel for over 12 months. I laughed and said I sent one email, (actually they emailed me after an online inquiry I didn't even have to call.) Baraka listened to what I wanted to do, made suggestion and proceeded to arrange my trip and I just enjoyed it.

I literally had to think of nothing besides flights.

All transfers and accommodation was all done for me. I never felt alone.
THEY TRULY CARED.

I can't recommend this company any higher. They are the only people I would travel with again.

I will be returning and I will be using Bantu Pori Journeys for my Mount Kilimanjaro climb probably mid next year 2019. Thank you is never going to be enough for all they did for me.

Bantu Pori Journeys was helpful and responsive in organizing a private camping safari to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti NP. We were seeking a trip with some comfort but without luxury or excess, for a reasonable price, and they delivered just that.

Our 4 day safari was well organized, our driver/guide Dan was excellent and made sure we saw as much as possible, the food was good and varied and the mattress and sleeping bags provided were very comfortable and a good quality.

In case you were interested our plan was simple.
D1 : Serengeti NP
D2 : Serengeti NP
D3 : Serengeti NP to Ngorongoro Camp
D4 : Ngorongoro Crater back to airport and fly to Zanzibar

The best price for the best safari with the best team. A really memorable experience. Would definitely recommend going with this company.

When I was searching for the tour operator, I really wanted to stick with one company for both the climb and the safari. I also didn't want the hassle of figuring out how to get to the lodge, where to get food, do the research on which places to stay away from.

I inquired with at least three companies, Bantu Pori Journeys promptly replied with an itinerary that met our needs and budget. They did an excellent job communicating during the planning our trip, following up and then exceeded all our expectations during our trip.

The porters, cook, and crew consistently gave fantastic service, were cheerful, and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. They sang to us on arriving at camp, provided amazing food, and spent time with us in the afternoons.

We are so glad to have selected Bantu Pori Journeys as our coordinating outfitter. Not being fond of tours, we hoped instead for a personal experience one not burdened with boilerplate activities and unenthusiastic guides. They delivered a trip of a lifetime with great memories of people we met, lodging to remember and experiences that were just awesome!

I highly recommend Bantu pori journeys to anyone who wants to experience an amazing trip along with the peace of mind knowing that there is a great team behind the scenes ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Thank you Bantu Pori Journeys - you gave us the perfect safari holiday.

Bantu Pori Journeys helped us planning our excursion in Tanzania for our honeymoon. We were very impressed by the service we received. Our travel consultant Baraka Mollel was very professional, friendly, responsive, and efficient. He was eager to understand our needs and helped us planning our days in Tanzania. We loved the accommodation superb in five locations - transfers all worked well giving you the experience to remember for life.

Thoroughly recommend Bantu Pori Journeys for a brilliant tailor-made holiday in Tanzania.

The pick-up van and safari cruiser were roomy and getting our luggage from place to place was easy.

Highlights of our safari: The amount and variety of animals we saw was truly beyond our expectations and our guide was SO knowledgeable, helpful, and FUNNY! The entire trip was amazing and unforgettable.

We are SO thankful that you steered us into designing our own trip and are SO thankful that we got Chris for our guide! It just could not have been more perfect. Generally, the people at the lodges / camps were so friendly, helpful, and fun also. We took the advice given that, if we wanted something, we should just ask, and it was true that everyone was so willing to help us.

We especially enjoyed the people at Farm house, Kirumumu, Katikati and arrival stay at Masailand Arusha.

We talked with the Maasai, too.

We enjoyed the 2 nights at katikati tented camp the most because they offered total comfort with a more outdoors experience we were able to hear animals at night, including a lion one night. It was fabulous, both for food and atmosphere.

Thank you Bantu Pori Journeys.

My trek as a whole was very well prepared and perfectly organized, the mere fact that I had not one serious problem on such a long journey, is amazing !

They proposed the Lemosho route 8 days and it was the best for a non-hikers like me !!

At every step of the climb the experienced guide and porters of Bantu Pori made us feel completely safe and comfortable in otherwise extreme conditions. I would recommend this trip to anyone, but be prepared to do the hard yards and train beforehand. This is one of the best things I have done in my life .

I would recommend this company. Great sourcing of local guides and know-how, professional, informative and adventurous team.

I had to join a group so as I can afford it. WORTH IT !!!!

Our family safari was in our bucket list for a while and we wanted a great nature and wildlife experience. We were not disappointed. We were most interested in the migration and were very satisfied. The camps were nothing but outstanding. The experience we wanted!

3 nights at Oleserai camp and 1 night at Ngorongoro Sopa were amazing.

We had some of the best sightings of Tembo (Elephants), Lions, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hyena, Pumba and lots of birds that we have ever had. It reaffirmed our knowledge that the people of Tanzania are kind, friendly and have a good sense of humor.

Our guide in Tanzania was extremely knowledgeable about the local history and the animals that we would see. The Bantu Pori guide was excellent.......The best trip plan we made was to do our trip with you guys.

I don’t know what it’s like in Tanzania at other times of year, but for the trip we took it couldn’t have been more enjoyable and was worth it.....450 bucks per person for a 5 day safari was worth it. And we would highly recommend Bantu Pori journeys if you are thinking of going to Tanzania and want the experience of a lifetime!

Hello fellow backpackers, we just took a Kilimanjaro climb and a safari in Tanzania with Bantu Pori.

The route we choose was 6 days Machame route (successful summit), the weather was perfect, the bantu team was more than professional we gotta admit these guys carry lots of loads on their back and yet they smiled and cheered through out our climb. We loved the local song of "hakuna matata....kilimanjaroo....hakuna matata". The team bantu really made us feel at home.

On our second favorite part. MEALS. We were provided with plenty to eat and drink throughout the climb.

Got our certificates and I took lots of pics...!!

Our 4 days safari experience was simply the best. The price was very reasonable, and everything went just as planned. The guide we had was brilliant and outstanding.

We saw every type of animal. To see elephants , lions, cheetah, leopard, wildebeest, rhino, to name but a few, in their natural surrounds is something we will treasure. The campsites were particularly comfortable and we just loved it. Food here also was very good. The programme Baraka Mollel put together was full with plenty of interesting sites. It also included a visit to a Maasai village which enabled us to learn about their culture and way of life. A lot of traveling is involved whilst on safari but every mile is worth it. We are well traveled but this experience is up there as one of the best.

We thank them for such a fantastic trip and for taking the headache of organizing it all for us. All transfers were there and ready for us, all accommodation was well suited to our needs and the support and help from Baraka Mollel was excellent.

We would / will definitely be using them again when we plan our next trip.

My 4 days safari with bantu was incredible. Baraka picked me up on time at airport and the hotel he booked for me at Moshi was more than satisfying. Briefing with his guide was professional, both the guide and the cook did everything possible to make sure every day was special for me.

Since I enjoyed this so much I can only recommend them. My tip is to use this operator..!!

I know I am coming back next year with my friends for the Kilimanjaro expedition.
