Itinerary

Day 1 - Transfer to Kruger

Kruger

Depart JHB in an air-conditioned microbus with an experienced Kruger Park guide. Travel east across the Highveld and continue to the entrance of Kruger Park with lunch stop en route . Spend the afternoon on your first game drive looking for herds of elephant, giraffe and antelope. Before sunset exit the park and drive to Sabie River Bush Lodge. Check in and relax on the deck overlooking the Sabie River for some game viewing and then join your guide for dinner in the restaurant & overnight.

Day 2 - Drives in southern Kruger

Kruger

Awaken at dawn, leave the lodge & drive to Kruger Park entrance gate . Prepare for the early morning game drive to look for lions and other Big 5 species. Stop for breakfast then continue with the drive. By midday you can expect hot weather, your guide will head for Skukuza Camp (or similar) Book into a chalet with air-con then time for a swim or lunch. Later board the National Parks open safari vehicle for a sunset game drive. Your guide will arrange dinner in the restaurant and overnight.

Day 3 - drive and transfer back

Kruger

Pack up and depart on another memorable sunrise game drive looking for elusive species such as leopard. Breakfast and time for shopping before leaving the Park for your homeward journey. Relax and enjoy a drive past the orchards and fertile farmland then up to the Highveld for lunch. Arrive back at Johannesburg Airport before 16.00 for onward flights or continue to your hotel.
