Arusha to Tarangire National Park Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30 AM and drive to Tarangire National Park, enjoy full day game drive with picnic lunchThe park consists of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.

Day 2 Tarangire to serengeti

Serengeti

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River.,

The Serengeti National Park is the largest park in Tanzania, is famed for its many grazing animals. The Serengeti was named after the Maasai word siringet, meaning endless plain, and it definitely lives up to its name as you travel through it on your safari tour of Tanzania. On your Serengeti safari, you will have an opportunity to encounter rhinoceroses, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, African elephants, lions, cheetahs and many other animals that call these plains home.

Ngorongoro Crater

You will have an early breakfast at your lodge then we check out and head out for one more last game drive in the Serengeti. We will explore thе Sеrоnеrа Vаllеy. Seronera, which means the center in Maasai, sits at the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem and hosts an astonishing number of animals year-round including over 500 bird species and most of East Africa’s predators.

You will rise early, around 5.30 for brеаkfаst; and drivе towards to the dоwn оf thе wоrld’s grеаtеst саldеrа” Ngоrоngоrо " for a full day crater tour. You will spend the morning exploring the Ngorongoro Crater until lunch time. You will be transferred back to your hotel in Arusha or at the Kilimanjaro International Airport if departing on this day.
