Itinerary

Transfer to L. Mburo N. park

Lake Mburo

Have breakfast and after that you head to Lake Mburo National Park . You will pass by the equator and first have some photos and a few explanations for those who would wish. We continue to L. Mburo and you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch we head for a boat trip at the L. Mburo where a number of schools of hippos will be seen lying by the lake side and a number of water birds will be seen for example; African finfoot, African pied kingfisher, African fish Eagle and many other birds.

Queen Elizabeth

Have an early morning breakfast and head for a game drive where we will view a number of animals like the Zebras, the water bucks, bush bucks, baboons, varvet monkeys, Impalas, Uganda kobs, topis, buffaloes and many others and a variety of Savannah birds will also be seen within that course. Later return to the hotel for your lunch. In the afternoon, we drive to Queen Elizabeth N. Park. It will take 2 to 2 and a half hours. We will arrive in the Evening and check in at the lodge.

Queen Elizabeth

After your morning breakfast, we will head for a game drive. A number of animals like Elephants, lions, many hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles and may be leopards will be viewed and a variety of bird species will also be seen during this game drive. You will return to the lodge in good time for lunch. Relax shortly and later in the afternoon head for a boat launch at the Kazinga Channel. During this time, a number of water mammals will be sighted and great bird life will be witnessed here.

Transfer to Ishasha sector.

Queen Elizabeth

Have breakfast at your convenience and later head to Ishasha sector (Southern part of the park). After Checking in at the lodge, you will go for a game drive and a number of animals will be spotted including the famous tree climbing lions. Later return to the camp for your dinnner and over night.

Transfer to Murchison Falls N. P

Murchison Falls

After breakfast, you will drive through the park as you head to Murchison falls national park. This will be a long drive but we will have lunch en-route and we will arrive at the park in the evening and and check in at the lodge. The park is well known for the spectacular Murchison falls, where the world’s longest river detonates fervently through the tapered crevice in the rift valley escarpment to thrust into a foaming pool 43m below. Here you will see the magnificent Murchison falls.

Murchison Falls

We will have our morning breakfast and head for the morning game drive for the early risers. We will see animals like the baboons, Elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, buffaloes, hynas, lions to mention but a few. A variety of savannah birds like secretary bird, African Skimmer and many others. Return in time for lunch and go for a boat trip on the Albert Nile to the bottom of the falls. Expect to see animals like Hippos, crocs, monitor lizards, water bucks and a wide variety of bird species.

Whole day Murchison Falls N. Park

Murchison Falls

After breakfast we head for an early morning boat trip on the Nile delta. The delta area has the highest concentration of animals in Murchison falls and the boat performs a perfect platform to see them. This is also the area where the elusive shoebill stork can be seen. We will return in time for lunch and relax at the lodge and later we may head for an evening game drive(optional). Dinner and overnight as above.

Transfer back to Entebbe

After a relaxed morning breakfast, we drive through the park returning to Entebbe via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where a number of Rhinos are being protected. Rhinos are one of the endangered animals that are almost facing extinction due to harassment from Poachers. Reason the sanctuary was put up to preserve the few remaining. Lunch will be on the way.

After a relaxed morning breakfast, we will head to Mabamba for the shoebill in case you miss it in Murchison falls and many other swamp birds and later we can pass by Uganda wildlife education center and look at some of the animals that are being conserved from that place. We will have lunch at our hotel relax and later in the Evening be dropped back at the airport for your return flight.
