Arrival in Rwanda

On arrival in Rwanda, you will be welcomed by a representative from our company who will drive you through Kigali for the Kigali city tour and you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial,Kigali Province, Kandt House Natural History Museum,Kigali Province, Kimironko Market, Kigali Province and pass by Kigali Convention Centre, Kigali, Kigali Province. You will have lunch with in the city and after the day’s activity you will head for you night’s rest. Dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Lake Kivu

After breakfast, we shall drive to Gisenyi town which is located on the shores of Lake Kivu. Upon arrival, have lunch and head for the boat ride around the different fishing villages. Dinner and overnight stay

Drive to Bwindi

Bwindi Impenetrable

Today we set off from Rwanda to Uganda and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. On our way we pass through interesting villages and have some breath taking views of the mountains. Bwindi Impenetrable is a unique jungle, with many monkey species. Bwindi is one of the two places in the world where you can find Mountain Gorillas! If we arrive early we will head for an evening walk through the communities and the pygmy villages too. Dinner and overnight

Gorilla tracking!!

Gorilla tracking!!! Early morning departure with your ranger to search for one of the world’s most interesting and endangered animal, the Mountain Gorilla! You will spend time with one of our closest relatives. An experience you will never forget. You may go with packed lunch or you have it when you return at the lodge. Those not interested in tracking, can go forest walking and bird watching for those interested. Dinner and overnight as above.

After an early morning breakfast, we transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park via the Ishasha sector in the South, in search of the famous tree climbing Lions. In Ishasha there are 4 prides of lions that climb the trees. Unique in the world! The other attraction of Ishasha are the Topis, not found anywhere else in this National Park. We will be with our packed lunch and we will arrive at Queen Elizabeth National park in the evening. Freshen up and have your dinner. Dinner and overnight

Have an early breakfast, morning game drive. The guide will help you spot a plethora of animals including Elephants, buffaloes,bush bucks, impalas, monkeys and many others. Visit Katwe salt lake from which salt is extracted. The vegetation in the park is open savannah,green meadows,dense equatorial forest and dense papyrus swamps. Return for lunch in the afternoon and go for a boat ride at the Kazinga channel where you will spot hippos, crocodiles, various water birds including the flamingos.

Transfer to Jinja.

After an early morning breakfast, we will have a short game drive through the park to spot some of the game we missed as we drive through to Jinja via the equator. We shall stop at the equator for pictures and souvenirs and we may as well have lunch at the equator, later we continue to Jinja. Arrive in the evening, and check in the lodge for overnight. Dinner and overnight

Visit the source of the Nile!

After a relaxed Breakfast, head to the site where we board a boat to visit the source of the Nile; where the longest river in the world “the river Nile” starts its journey. Other optional activities include white water rafting, bungee jumping, squad biking, horse riding, lunch will be in Jinja town. Later return to the airport for return flight.
