Itinerary
West Kilimanjaro
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After finishing passport control and customs procedures, you will be met by your safari guide outside the arrival lounge and taken to your accommodation for check in and overnight (approx. 90 minutes). Enjoy a great meal and a relaxing evening.
Original Maasai Lodge

You will have the opportunity to experience several cultural activities or you can simply sit back and take full advantage of the amenities this magical place has to offer. In the morning, go on a nature walk and/or bike ride through Maasailand, and take part in a spear throwing competition in the evening before joining the Maasai for storytelling at the campfire.

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch and drive to Tarangire National Park where you will proceed with your first game drives! Spend the entire day exploring the park and overnight on the shores of Lake Manyara!

Mto wa Mbu to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
After breakfast, make your way to the local farming village of Mto wa Mbu in the afternoon, where you will get to go on a 1.5-hour guided stroll. In the vicinity, you may stop at a local Maasai village to distribute solar lamps to a family without electricity – you will make a huge difference in their lives and it will be an experience you will never forget! Afterwards, enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and check into your accommodation on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim.

In the morning after an early breakfast you will be one of the first vehicles descending the six hundred meters (2,000ft) into Ngorongoro Crater for superb game viewing with picnic lunch boxes. In the afternoon make your way to Central Serengeti where you will stay for three (3) nights

After an early breakfast on day 8, go on a last morning game drive and head to Seronera Airstrip from which you will catch a plane to Zanzibar. From Zanzibar airport you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in historic Stone Town where you will have time to explore its fascinating culture, history and delicious cuisine

You will be picked up at your hotel at 9:00 AM to go on a Stone Town Food Tour. While savoring the local treats, including a proper lunch, you will learn about Stone Town and life in Zanzibar. On this Zanzibar food tour you will have local snacks, lunch, see the market place, taste fresh fruit and end up with coffee at the famous Jaw’s Corner. While the focus of the tour is on Zanzibar food, it also takes you to the marketplace, through many historical sites and the daily life of Stone Town.
