Shipungo Safari & Tours invites you to explore in full the Moremi Game Reserve and experience the Okavango Delta on this five-day Moremi Safari. Your days here will be spent on game viewing and enjoying the bush and the dry-lands of Moremi, and 2 hours boat ride in Moremi Game Reserve. Join and take your chance to see the Big Five of Africa.

Day 1 Maun-Moremi Game Reserve

In the morning after breakfast. One of our professional tour guide will pick you at the lodge where your accomodation was reserved or at the airport, you will leave Maun to spend four nights and five days to explore in full Moremi Game Reserve. Your camp will be set upon arrival and you will have your lunch before a game drive in Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi Game Reserve is well-known for the Big Five sightings, being the lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and the elephant dangerous. Afterwards, you will return to the camp where dinner is served.

Day 2 Moremi Game Reserve

In the morning after breakfast, you will leave the camp for a long game drive to experience the other parts of Moremi Game Reserve. You will return to the camp for lunch and after that you have two hours to rest before an afternoon game drive in Moremi. After the game drive, you will return back to the camp where dinner is served.

Day 3 Moremi Game Reserve

In the morning after breakfast, you will leave the camp for a long game drive to experience the other parts of Moremi Game Reserve. You will return to the camp for lunch and after that you have about one hour to rest before going on a sunset cruise by boat in Moremi. After sunset cruise, you will return to the camp where dinner is served.

Day 4 Moremi Game Reserve

In the morning after breakfast, you will leave the camp for a long game drive to experience the other parts of Moremi Game Reserve. You will return to the camp for lunch and after that you have about two hours to rest before an afternoon game drive to experience, view, and enjoy the bush and drylands of Moremi. You will return to the camp where dinner is served.

Day 5 Moremi Game Reserve-Maun

After breakfast, the camp will be broken down and you will leave Moremi at around 10:00 for Maun where the safari will end.. You will be transferred to the airport if you are leaving or at any accommodation (lodge or hotel) where your accommodation is reserved.

  • Standard Dome Tent Safari
  • For groups of more than 4 people a supply vehicle with 2 staff members will set up camp ahead of your clients. For 4 or less people 2 staff members will travel on the same vehicle and all equipment will be loaded in a trailer and on a roof rack. Luggage must be restricted to 15kg per person in soft bags.
  • Accommodation:Walk-in 3m x 3m tents with fully made, comfortable bedrolls on stretchers.
  • Bedside table with solar powered lantern.Shared toilet tent and shower tent. Towel supplied. Meals: Early breakfast- Cereals, rusks tea and coffee.Brunch- Eggs, bacon, beans, fried tomato, sausage (or vegan sausage) and toast.Light afternoon lunch- Cold meats, salads breads and fruit. Dinner- 2 courses, either soup and a main or a main and desert. Drinks: 3lts of bottled water per person per day, fruit juice for breakfast and a couple of glasses of wine for dinner will be supplied. If you would like to take any extra drinks we can supply a cooler and ice.
  • En-Suite Dome Tent Safari
  • Our En-suite dome tent Safaris are run on a minimum of 2 nights per campsite basis.
  • For groups of more than 3 people a supply vehicle and 2 staff will set up camp ahead of your clients. For 3 or less people 2 staff members will travel on the same vehicle, all equipment will be loaded into a trailer and on a roof rack. Luggage must be restricted to 20kg per person in soft bags. Accommodation: Walk-in 3m x 3m dome tents with comfortable bedrolls made up with high quality cotton linen on stretchers. Bedside table with solar powered lantern. Chairs and a table on a groundsheet outside the front of the tent. There is an attached enclosure at the back of each tent that encompasses the shower and a curtained-off safari style toilet. Towels are supplied. Meals: Early breakfast- Cereals, yoghurt, rusks ,tea and coffee. Brunch- Eggs, bacon, beans, fried tomato, sausage (or vegan sausage) and toast. Light afternoon lunch- Cold meats, salads breads and fruit. Dinner- 3 courses, soup, a main and desert. Drinks: 3lts of bottled water per person per day, fruit juice for breakfast and wine for dinner. A limited supply of local soft drinks, beers and cider will also be supplied. If they would like to take any extra drinks we can supply a cooler and ice.
  • En-Suite Meru Tent Safari
  • Our Meru tented Safaris are run on a minimum of 3 nights per campsite basis.
  • This enables us to provide a more luxurious “Private tented camp” feel for your clients.
  • For us to create the best possible experience these trips are best booked well in advance as there are a limited number of campsites that truly do these trips justice.
  • A supply vehicle with at least 3 members of staff will set up camp ahead of your clients Luggage should be restricted to 30kg per person, preferably in soft bags. Accommodation: Spacious 4m x 3.5m classic Safari style Meru tents with comfortable twin beds fully made with quality cotton linen. A bedside table with solar powered lantern either between the beds or to one side if they would prefer the beds to be together. A wooden trunk with extra linen for cold nights doubles up as a convenient luggage rack The front of each tent has a covered verandah with chairs, table and lantern. There is an attached enclosure at the back of each tent that encompasses the shower and a curtained-off safari style toilet. Towels, soap and shampoo are supplied. Meals: Early breakfast- Cereals, yoghurt, fruit, rusks, tea and filter coffee. Brunch- Eggs, bacon, fillet of beef, beans, fried tomato, sausage (or vegan sausage) and toast. Light afternoon lunch- Cold meats, salads, breads and fruit. 4 Course dinner- Soup, a main, desert and cheeses. Drinks: All bottled water, fruit juice. Local soft drinks, beer, cider. Wine and a limited supply of spirits will be supplied. We would be happy to hear from you regarding their drinks preferences.
