Day 2: KILIMANJARO TO ARUSHA: Morning after breakfast you will pickup transfer to Arusha checking inn later you will meet our guide for Arusha city tour plus visit Massai boma, See the historical highlights of Arusha City on this comprehensive 3.5-hour sightseeing tour! As you explore this bustling metropolis by luxury coach, see top Arusha attractions like Ngorongoro Crater and Blue Tanzanite, a brilliant blue gemstone found in the hills surround Arusha and Moshi. Walk up to the coffee plantations for unforgettable views over the city, and learn about Tanzania cookery courses, workshop in drum making and batik which give you an insight into local life, after tour drive back to your resort and overnight.

Day 3: ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK After breakfast you are met by our professional tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari info briefing, after which we travel east to the Arusha National Park. This small but beautiful Tanzanian National Park is the closest national park to both the famous Arusha “safari town” (40 km) as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport, thus making it ideal for 1-day safaris or tours. Not only is the animal life in the park abundant, but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied parks in Tanzania. The park’s three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second highest peak at 4566m), the notably different colored Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago! We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do a morning and afternoon game drive, visiting both the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife which could be seen includes African buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffe, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys and sometimes a rare leopard or hyena. Late afternoon drive back to your resort and overnight.

Day 4: ARUSHA-LAKE MANYARA: Early breakfast then with your picnic lunch drive to L/Manyara National Park, famous for its green scenery, varied bird life, tree-climbing lions, hippos baboons and many more wild animals till late in the evening then drive to your Lodge you will see a nice view of Lake Manyara National Park Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: LAKE MANYARA-SERENGETI: After breakfast we will head towards the Serengeti National Park, leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Lobo area which is located just north of the Seronera area (central Serengeti National Park). The wildebeest migration, normally pass through the Lobo area every year around July / August en-route to the Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve and again in late October / November en-route to the southern Serengeti National Park. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park later drive back to your lodge dinner and overnight.

Day 6: SERENGETI- FULL DAY GAME DRIVE: (LOBO AREA) After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. The area around Lobo and the Grumeti River has good resident game throughout the year. Non-migrating game like elephant, buffalo, gazelle, zebra, lion, leopard and cheetah can be seen here all year round. The game viewing is very good and you can follow game for long periods without seeing other vehicles – truly one of the forgotten corners of the Serengeti Plains. Magnificent riverine trees can be found along the river lines and bird life such as kingfishers and fish eagles can be found here, drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Balloon Itinerary 05:00hrs Serengeti Balloon Safaris will collect you from your central Serengeti lodge or camp, and transfer you by Land rover to our launch site near Maasai Kopjes. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. At dawn we take off, rising as the sun rises and float in whichever direction the winds of the morning take us. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon: sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife below. At other times he will ascend to 1000' or more to see the enormity and wonderful panorama of the Serengeti. From time to time the pilot must put more heat into the balloon with the powerful whisper burners. In between these burns, there is silence apart from the natural sounds below. The flight is for about one hour depending on conditions, on landing you celebrate in the traditional manner with champagne (well, an excellent sparkling wine), before sitting down to a full English breakfast prepared and served in the bush in 'Out of Africa' style with bone china, linen table cloths, King's silver etc. After breakfast you receive your Serengeti Balloon certificate and we drive you back to Seronera Lodge game viewing en-route. 10:00 hrs Arrive at Seronera ready to continue your day's activities.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Day 7: Northern Serengeti (Wagakuria area) After breakfast enjoy a full day game drive in the Wagakuria area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area, with prides of lion up to 30 strong; however from August to October the area turns into a wildlife paradise. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note – to actually finding a crossing is very difficult and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to river and only decide to cross or not cross until a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve back to your resort dinner and overnight.

Day 8: SERENGETI- NGORONGORO CRATER: After breakfast with our Picnic Lunch make a game drive briefly in famous Serengeti to Ngorongoro via Olduvai George believe to be home of the first human being. The skull of Home sapiens was discovered here by Dr. Leakey; drive in to the crater floor one of the wonders of the world then to Ngorongoro Conservation area then descend to the crater floor one of the wonders of the world. You will have a game drive inside the crater till late in the evening having a chance to see all big five e.g. Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalos, Hippos and many other game animals. Then drive to your lodge Dinner and overnight.

Day 9: NGORONGORO-TARANGIRE NATIONLA PARK/ARUSHA: Morning with packed lunches drive to Tarangire, Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephant the after drive to your lodge and overnight.
