Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1: Welcome to Uganda Arrive in Uganda at Entebbe. Meet and greet our representative. Check in at your Lodge in Entebbe. All rooms overlook the spacious African garden with shady trees and colorful flowers. Depending on time of arrival, you will have the chance to tour Entebbe's Wild life education centre and Botanical Gardens. Stay at Airport Guest House or equivalent
Day 2
Lake Mburo
Day 2: Mabamba - Lake Mburo Today after breakfast, you will visit Mabamba birding site to search for the Shoe bill bird. It is an important birding Area for this Prehistoric bird. Other birds can be sighted like African Open billed, Saddle billed stork, Long tailed Cormorant. After Mabamba, proceed to Lake Mburo National park via the Equator. At the equator you will stop by for photographs, souvenir shopping and water experiments. Stay at Mburo Safari Lodge
Day 3
Lake Mburo
Day 3: Lake Mburo After breakfast go for a game drive and may see the zebras, graceful impalas, Oribi and Elands. You also have another optional activity like nature walks and birding. In the Afternoon go for a boat ride to explore Lake Mburo with its wildlife which includes the Hippos, crocodiles. Return to hotel for relaxation. Evening game drive is another optional activity available. Stay at Rwakobo Rock
Day 4
Lake Mburo
Day 4: Lake Mburo to Bwindi Rushaga sector After breakfast proceed to Bwindi National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to 50% of the world’s gorillas. Do another game drive as you leave Lake Mburo. Arrive at Bwindi check in at lodge. Your lodge has stunning views of the forest canopy. At Bwindi you will come face to face with the Gorilla. Day 5
Day 5: Gorilla tracking Today after breakfast with packed lunch, go to gorilla tracking briefing point. Ranger guide will brief you on the day’s activities in the forest. It is a lifetime experience when you come face to face with these giant primates. It takes 4 to7 hours to track them in the forest hideouts and one hour viewing them. Stay at Chameleon Hill Lodge
Day 6
Day 6: Explore the Batwa tribe Trails Today after breakfast, you go for a community walk to the Batwa village and learn about the original inhabitants of the Bwindi forest. Batwa people are the original inhabitants of the forest. Currently they have been sensitized to live side by side with the forest previously their home and hunting ground for food and medicine. Uganda Wildlife Authority shares part of the revenue earned with the communities living near the Park. The Batwa are good story tellers. Stay at Chameleon Hill Lodge
Day 7
Queen Elizabeth
Day 7: Climbing tree lions, Queen Elizabeth Today after breakfast, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park through rural Uganda. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Rwenzoris. It is a habitat of several mammals. At Ishasha you will be able to see the tree climbing lions. Later on Continue further to Queen Elizabeth Heartland to enjoy other game drives and boat ride. Day 8

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth Heartland Early Game drive in search of the nocturnal animals like the lions. Return for lunch and go for A boat ride on Kazinga channel an exciting ride that brings you closer to the hippos, crocodiles and birds like the African skimmer. Return to lodge. Day 9
Day 9: Community Visits Today after breakfast you go for another community visit. On your way, you will visit Bunyagabu co- operative group whose main business activity is honey and Rubona Women group known for crafts making. Here you will have a chance to visit the source of honey and also make candles from beeswax. Or You will visit the Ruboni Community Camp, so that you interact first hand with the Bakonzo tribe, indigenous to the Rwenzori mountains. Meet the village blacksmith, storyteller, farmer, traditional healer and local basket weavers through this village tour.
Day 10
Day 10: End of your Safari Today after breakfast, travel back to Entebbe through another route via Fort Portal the Toro Kingdom capital, go past the tea plantations and the authentic rural Uganda villages. Arrive in time for your evening flight. This ends your Safari to the Pearl of Africa with memories to share with family and friends.
