Day 1
Masai Mara | Nairobi
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve " Africa's Wildlife crown Jewel" Early moring after breakfast at 0700hrs, you shall be picked up at your city hotel. We shall set for our journey to the majestic masai mara. The journey takes approximately 5hrs from Nairobi. We shall have stopovers along the wayas we enjoy the amazing scenery along the way. The first stop-over shall be at the Maimahui escrapment view point. We intend to take 20minutes break then proceed wth our safari. We shall drive down to the floor of the rift valley and drive past the Mt. Longonot and suswa up to Narok town where we shall have our second stop before we proceed to the Masai Mara. We hope to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, you shall have sometime to relax / siesta or have a swim before you set for an afternoon game drive at 1600hrs. Mara is one of the greatest wilderness with a variety of animals from the elephats, topi, wildebeest, bufallo, hartebeast, lions, cheetahs, leopard, hyena, impalas, elands and many more. In the evening as the sun sets, we shall return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. MARA SOPA LODGE FULL BOARD
Day 2
Masai Mara
Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara On this day after breakfast at 0745hrs, we shall leave the lodge to the reserve. The search for preditors continues. We shall leave with packed picnic lunch to the wilderness. On the expansive savanna are herds of grazers with cheetahs, leopards and lons hiding in the midst. Our game drive will lead us towards the mara river where we shall and hope to have lunch. The river is crocodile and hippo infested. The river is also a boundary between masai mara and the serengeti reserve. In the afternoon, you shall also have an opportunity to visit the masai village to experience their culture and unique lifestyle later returning to the lodge for diner and ovenight. Day 3
Masai Mara
Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi After breakfast, we shall leave the lodge at 0800hrs. We shall wave "kwaheri" to the magic of the mara as we head to Nairobi. We shall stopover at Narok for lunch then proceed and drop you at the city or at the airport for your flight back home. It is our hope that you did enjoy every bit of the safari. HALF BOARD
