Day 1
Nairobi
Day 1: Nairobi Arrive at Nairobi International Airport, Kenya where you are met and transferred to your hotel for overnight. The Norfolk Hotel or equivalent on bed and breakfast basis
Day 2
Tsavo
Day 2: Tsavo West In the morning, drive to Tsavo West National Park and Finch Hattons luxury tented camp, where you have lunch. Afterwards, an afternoon game drive may be rewarded with sightings of the great elephant herds, lesser kudu, lion or cheetah. Overnight at Finch Hattons on full board basis.
Day 3
Tsavo
Day 3: Tsavo West Enjoy a full day in Tsavo with morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight at Finch Hattons on full board basis.
Day 4
Amboseli
Day 4: Amboseli After breakfast, drive across Chyulu Hills and Shetani lava flow to Mzima Springs, where the underwater life of hippos and crocodiles can be observed. Continue to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. After a rest period, a game drive in the park should enable you to encounter elephant, lion, cheetah and giraffe. Overnight at Tortilis Camp on full board basis.
Day 5
Amboseli
Day 5: Amboseli Enjoy a full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight at Tortilis Camps on full board basis.
Day 6
Masai Mara | Nairobi
Day 6: Nairobi - Masai Mara After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi where you have lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant where all kinds of game meat can be tasted. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Masai Mara. You are met at the airstrip and led to your luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight. Governors Camp is set across the Mara River in an open glade with spectacular views of the plain and Mara Escarpment. Guests are accommodated in 17 spacious walk in tents with en suite facilities. A friendly atmosphere, outstanding service and abundance of wildlife often seen wandering through the camp, make Governor one of the best camps to stay at in the Mara. Balloon safaris launch from the camp each morning. Activities include guided wildlife viewing drives in the Mara and nature walks in an area adjoining to the Mara. Overnight at Governors Camp on full board basis.
Day 7
Masai Mara
Days 7 & 8: Masai Mara Spend the days in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Introduce yourself to the large herds of plains game and the numerous predators which have made the reserve so famous. Masai Mara is also home to the renowned black-maned lion. Overnight at Governors Camp on full board basis.
Day 9
Nairobi
Day 9: Nairobi After breakfast, fly back to Nairobi where you connect with your home bound flight. In the event of a late evening departure, an optional day room can be reserved for you to relax and freshen up before you transfer to the airport.
