Day 1 Arrival

On arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide from Mandela Safari Holidays. He will transfer you to your Hotel in either Kampala or Entebbe and brief you about your whole tour. Meal plan; Dinner

Day 2

Murchison Falls

Wake up for breakfast and then depart for Murchison falls, have lunch on the way and reach the park in the afternoon. You will have a stop at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary, track rhinos in their natural habitat on foot before you proceed to Murchison Falls. Ziwa rhino sanctuary is the only place where you see rhinos in the wild in Uganda. Arrive and check in your accommodation. Meal plan; Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Murchison Falls

On this day, you will be woken up by the singing birds outside your camp, have breakfast and have a game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Expect to see warthogs, antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, water bucks, oribis, giraffes and many more. This park is also home to over 450 bird species. In the afternoon, you are to have a boat trip to the bottom of the Murchison falls. You also hike to the top of the falls for better views. Meal plan; Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 4 Travel to Queen Elizabeth

Having had breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National park for another wildlife experience. This park was named after Queen Elizabeth of England after her remarkable visit. Queen Elizabeth is Uganda’s most visited Park and is home to four of the African big five excluding the rhino. More than 1000 bird species have been recorded here. The journey is long but fun and can be broken by lunch and photo breaks. Meal plan; Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Wakeup early for a game drive in the Kasenyi sector. Expect to see many elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, leopards, waterbucks and many more. You then go for a boat trip on the Kazinga channel. This will give you a platform to see a number of bird species and other wildlife. This water stream joins lakes Edward and George and is said to have the largest concentration of hippos in the world. You then drive to your lodge for evening accommodation. Meal plan; Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 6 Chimpanzee trekking

Wake up early for a morning chimpanzee trek in either Kyambura Gorge or Kalizu forest. The choice is yours. The trek takes 1 to 6 hours depending on where the chips are on a particular day. Enjoy an hour with them and drive back to your lodge to relax. You have an option to visit the Katwe salt lake to learn about salt mining in the area. Meal plan; Breakfast, lunch and dinner
