Day 1
Murchison Falls
DAY 1: KAMPALA - MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK (311 KMS) After an early morning breakfast AT 0800 am, head north to Murchison Falls National park via the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will have the opportunity to trek the Rhinos. The sanctuary houses Uganda's Rhino reintroduction project. There are 9 white rhinos and tracking is done on foot and takes about 1 and half hours. Drive to Masindi Town for lunch and later drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Overnight at Fort Murchison Lodge FB.
Day 2
Murchison Falls
DAY 2: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK Early morning head for a game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child's giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the 'Devil's Cauldron where you will see the River Nile said to be the 2nd longest river in the world crush through a narrow gorge and forming the magnificent Murchison falls!! Marvel at the schools of hippos, crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. Day 3
Day 3: MURCHISON FALLS N.P - TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK (487KMS). After a short break at 0730, drive west to Fort Portal through verdant countryside passing through traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. The drive takes though ever gate estate and much more. The drive approximately takes 7 hours. Arrive at the lodge in time for a late lunch. Relax at the lodge or take an unguided walk around the lodge to enjoy the beauty of the area. Overnight Crater Safari Lodge. BB
Day 4
Kibale
Day 4: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK After breakfast we visit Kibale Forest National Park, where the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa is exceptionally represented. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee known to be a delightful ape. It is also a home of species like the rare I'Hoest's monkey, the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon among others. The walk takes 2-3 hours. After lunch go for Bigodi swamp walk where you may see a variety of bird species and other smaller mammals. Overnight Crater Safari lodge-FB
Day 5
Queen Elizabeth
Day 5: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK –QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK – 150 KM After your morning breakfast at 0800, to proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. As you go through the park, have a game drive to spot some animals like the Elephant, Buffaloes, bushbucks, and Uganda Kob, Antelopes, Warthogs, among others. In the afternoon enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. It is a 42kms channel that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. It offers and excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species. Overnight at Bush Lodge FB Day-6:-QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK After an early morning breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive to see lions, elephants, lions, Uganda Kob Birds , Warthogs and much more . Day 7
Bwindi Impenetrable
Day 7: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK -250 KM After breakfast,-head for Bwindi impenetrable national park Forest passing through the Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads. With all the volcanic activity in this area the scenic beauty is breathtaking. Have a stop of at a local Bakiga community to see how they live. Continue to the lodge arriving late evening. Overnight at Gorilla Safari lodge FB Day-8:-BWINDI-IMPENETRABLE-NATIONAL-PARK After an early morning breakfast proceed to the starting point to embark on your Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in such of the awesome Gorillas – an unforgettable experience of your lifetime. Don't forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch and plenty of water. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend with them an hour before returning to your lodge. Time allowing; take a community walk around the lodge and visit a school. Overnight at Gorilla Safari lodge. FB
