After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobabs and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive, searching for elephants, buffalo, lions, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. Continue to Mto wa Mbu in the late afternoon for check-in and relaxation at Fanaka Safaris Campsite & Lodges. Meals: Lunch & dinner Game drive: Approximately 6–7 hours

Mto wa Mbu to Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an extended game drive across its spectacular floor. This is one of the key days of the Big Five quest, with opportunities to search for lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard and black rhino, alongside zebra, wildebeest, hippo and other wildlife. After the game drive, ascend from the crater and continue to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro area. Game viewing time: approximately 6–7 hours

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, with wildlife viewing beginning along the way. Enter the Serengeti and continue with an afternoon game drive across the plains. Spend the day exploring different habitats with your experienced guide, following fresh tracks and observing predator-prey interactions. The day is dedicated to maximizing your chances of encountering the Big Five while also appreciating the Serengeti's wider ecosystem.
