Pre Day Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by a Kiwia AfricaTours & Safaris representative and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. After check-in, you will receive a detailed safari briefing from your driver-guide, including park information, daily schedules, and practical safari tips. Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your private Kiwia Africa Tours safari vehicle and professional guide will take you from your hotel in Arusha and drive toward Tarangire National Park. Enter the park and begin your first game drive among large baobab trees, seasonal wetlands and open grasslands. Tarangire is particularly famous for its elephant populations, but you may also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and other species. Later, leave Tarangire and drive toward Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel toward Serengeti through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you approach Serengeti, the landscape changes from highland scenery to vast open plains. After entering Serengeti National Park, begin your game drive while continuing toward your accommodation. Search for wildebeest, zebra, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, gazelles and predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas at evening go straight to the lodge in the middle of serengeti.

The day begins early with a morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is most active. Enjoy the soft morning light and increased chances of seeing predators returning from a night hunt. After returning to camp for a late breakfast and lunch, depart the Serengeti with a game drive en route toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Optional: Serengeti Hot Air Balloon Safari (USD 600 per person) Enjoy a sunrise hot air balloon flight over the vast plains of the Serengeti.

After breakfast, descend approximately 650 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater supports a dense population of wildlife due to its permanent water sources, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, hippo, elephant, and a strong population of lions. With some luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino.Visit Lake Magadi, known for flamingos and other water birds, before enjoying a picnic lunch on the crater floor. In the afternoon, ascend the crater.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning in Arusha before checking out. Depending on your departure flight time, you may have time for a short city visit, souvenir shopping, or simply relaxing at your accommodation. Later, your Kiwia Africa Tours representative will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your onward flight, marking the end of your Tanzanian adventure.
