Moshi – Londorossi Gate – Mti Mkubw

Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and transferred to Londorossi Gate for registration and park formalities. From the gate, you will drive to the trailhead and begin your trek through the beautiful rainforest. The trail is surrounded by lush vegetation and wildlife, and after several hours of hiking, you will arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp for dinner and overnight.

Mti Mkubwa Camp – Shira 1 Camp

After breakfast, you will continue climbing through the rainforest before entering the heath and moorland zone. The landscape becomes more open, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. You will trek toward Shira 1 Camp, located on the spectacular Shira Plateau, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Shira 1 Camp – Shira 2 Camp

Today you will explore the beautiful Shira Plateau as you gradually gain altitude. The trail offers impressive views of Kibo Peak and the surrounding volcanic landscape. You will continue to Shira 2 Camp, where you will rest, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Shira 2 Camp – Moir Hut

After breakfast, you will leave the Shira Plateau and continue toward the northern side of Kilimanjaro. The trail passes through a remote alpine landscape with spectacular views of Kibo Peak. You will arrive at Moir Hut, where you will have time to rest and acclimatize before dinner and overnight.

Moir Hut – Pofu Camp – Third Cave C

Today you will continue around the northern slopes of Kilimanjaro. The trail is quieter and offers a true wilderness experience, with dramatic views across the mountain and northern plains. You will pass through Pofu Camp before continuing to Third Cave Camp for dinner and overnight.

Third Cave Camp – School Hut Camp

After breakfast, you will continue trekking through the high-altitude alpine desert toward the eastern side of Kilimanjaro. The landscape becomes increasingly rugged as you approach Kibo Peak. You will arrive at School Hut Camp, where you will have an early dinner and rest in preparation for the summit attempt.

School Hut Camp – Uhuru Peak – Mill

Kilimanjaro

You will wake up around midnight and begin your summit attempt. The climb is challenging but rewarding as you ascend toward Gilman's Point and continue along the crater rim toward Uhuru Peak. At 5,895 metres, Uhuru Peak is the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement and taking photographs, you will begin your descent toward Millennium Camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

y 8: Millennium Camp – Mweka Camp

After breakfast, you will continue descending through the changing ecological zones of Kilimanjaro. The landscape gradually changes from alpine desert to moorland and rainforest. You will arrive at Mweka Camp, where you will enjoy your final night on the mountain.

Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Moshi

Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, you will make your final descent through the beautiful rainforest to Mweka Gate. After completing the park exit procedures and receiving your summit certificate, you will meet your driver and transfer back to Moshi. You can then relax at your hotel and celebrate your successful Kilimanjaro climb.
