Machame Gate – Machame Camp
Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and transferred to Machame Gate, where you will complete the registration and park formalities. The trek begins through the beautiful tropical rainforest. Along the trail, you may see different species of plants and birds while enjoying the peaceful mountain environment. After several hours of hiking, you will arrive at Machame Camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Machame Camp – Shira Camp
Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, you will continue your climb through the forest before entering the heath and moorland zone. The landscape gradually becomes more open, with impressive views of the surrounding mountains and Mount Kilimanjaro's volcanic features. You will continue toward Shira Camp, where you will enjoy dinner and rest for the night. Hiking time: Approximately 4–6 hours Habitat: Heath and moorland Overnight: Shira Camp

Shira Camp – Machame Gate – Moshi
Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, you will begin your descent back toward Machame Gate. The trail takes you through the lower mountain vegetation, providing a different perspective of the landscape you experienced during the ascent. Upon arrival at the gate, you will complete the park procedures and meet your driver for the transfer back to Moshi. Hiking time: Approximately 4–6 hours Habitat: Moorland and rainforest Overnight: Not included / return to Moshi
