Arrival in Tanzania – Moshi

Kilimanjaro

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. After check-in, you will have time to relax and prepare for your climb. In the evening, your mountain guide will provide a briefing and check your trekking equipment.

Moshi – Londorossi Gate – Mti Mkubw

After breakfast, drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate for registration and park formalities. Begin your trek through the beautiful montane rainforest, enjoying the rich vegetation and birdlife along the trail. Continue to Mti Mkubwa Camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Mti Mkubwa Camp – Shira 1 Camp

Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, leave the rainforest behind and continue through the moorland zone toward the Shira Plateau. The landscape opens up, offering spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding highlands. Arrive at Shira 1 Camp for dinner and overnight. Trekking: approximately 8 km | Time: 4–6 hours

Shira 1 Camp – Shira 2 Camp – Moir

Today you continue across the scenic Shira Plateau toward Moir Hut. The trail gradually climbs through the high-altitude desert landscape, providing excellent opportunities for acclimatization. Enjoy the dramatic mountain scenery before settling into camp for the night.

Continue your journey around the northern slopes of Kilimanjaro. The trail passes through remote and less-traveled wilderness areas with beautiful views toward the summit and northern plains of Tanzania. Continue to Third Cave Camp for dinner and overnight. Trekking: approximately 12 km | Time: 5–7 hours

Third Cave Camp – School Hut Camp

Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, continue along the Northern Circuit toward School Hut Camp. The landscape becomes increasingly alpine as you approach the summit zone. Take the afternoon to rest, hydrate and prepare for the summit attempt. Trekking: approximately 15 km | Time: 5–7 hours

School Hut Camp – Uhuru Peak – Mill

Kilimanjaro

Wake up around midnight and begin your summit attempt. Trek through the darkness toward Gilman's Point on the crater rim, then continue along the crater rim toward Stella Point and onward to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement and taking photographs, descend from the summit through the southern slopes toward Millennium Camp, where you will have dinner and rest. Trekking: approximately 15 km | Time: 12–15 hours

Millennium Camp – Mweka Gate – Mosh

Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, begin your final descent through the lush montane forest toward Mweka Gate. At the gate, complete the park exit procedures and receive your summit certificates. You will then be transferred back to Moshi for a well-earned rest at your hotel. Trekking: approximately 10 km | Time: 3–5 hours
