Arusha–Tarangire–Karatu
Tarangire
Your 7 days August Tanzania private safari starts in Arusha at about 7:30 am. Meet your professional driver-guide and travel by private 4×4 Land Cruiser to Tarangire National Park. Spend around 5–6 hours game driving through baobab woodland, open plains and areas around the Tarangire River, looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife. Later, leave the park and continue to Karatu for the night.

Leave Karatu early and drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into Ngorongoro Crater. Spend about 5–6 hours exploring the crater floor, where you may encounter lions, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, black rhino. After a picnic lunch, ascend from the crater and continue across the Ngorongoro highlands and plains to Central Serengeti, arriving for your overnight stay.
