Enjoy an early breakfast before departing Kigali for Uganda. Drive approximately three hours to the Katuna border, passing rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and picturesque countryside. After border formalities, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive at your lodge for lunch, then relax and enjoy the peaceful rainforest surroundings.

Today is the highlight of your Ugandan adventure. After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a ranger briefing before trekking through Bwindi’s ancient rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek may take 30 minutes to 6 hours, followed by one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Afterward, enjoy a well-deserved rest or optional Batwa Cultural Experience or Bwindi Forest Nature Walk before dinner.

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and bidding farewell to Bwindi’s tranquil forests.
