Maun-Okavango Delta

Okavango Delta

On the first day, you will be picked up from the lodge or airport and transferred to the Mokoro station where you will meet the guide who will conduct the tour for days in the Okavango Delta and two days in Khwai. Upon arrival, the staff set up camp while you have lunch before the afternoon activity either a mokoro excursion or a game walk. You will return back to the camp where dinner is served.

You will wake up early, around 6:30 a.m. for coffee/tea, cereal, and rusks. You will depart on a 4-hour early morning game walk. You will return at around 10:00 a.m. for a hearty brunch. You can relax in the camp, or ask your guides to take you for a swim, before the afternoon Mokoro cruise to experience the other parts of Okavango Delta. You will return to the camp where dinner is served.

Breakfast will be served while the staff is breaking down the camp. Immediately after your breakfast, you will board your Mokoro back to Mokoro Statio. Upon your arrival, the campsite will be set up by the staff who will direct you to your tents. You will rest before the game drive activity in Khwai, one of the best places to spot lions, leopards, and many other animals. You will return to the campsite where dinner is served. After dinner, you will go for a night game drive in Khwai.

In the morning after breakfast, you will enjoy a game drive to explore Khwai and its environment driving slowly in the park back to Maun where you will be dropped off in a lodge, hotel, or airport.
