First gazetted as a game reserve in 1926, it is Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area, hosting 76 species of mammals and 451 birds.

After breakfast at 7:00 am, your journey begins to Murchison Falls National Park, with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. These rhinos were once gone from Uganda, but here they are being carefully bred to return to the wild. At the sanctuary, your guide and a ranger will take you on a walking safari to see the rhinos. When you spot them, you can take a moment to watch and enjoy their presence up close. After this amazing experience, you will have lunch at the sanctuary.
