Journey To The Crater Rim
Ngorongoro Crater
After a morning game drive in the Serengeti, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers beautiful scenery as you ascend to the crater rim. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, often described as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." Arrive at your camp on the crater rim in time to enjoy the stunning sunset over one of Africa's most dramatic landscapes. The cool highland air provides a refreshing change from the plains below.

The Crater and Departure
Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive in this unique ecosystem. The crater floor is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including all of the Big Five. The enclosed nature of the crater means animals are generally easier to spot than in the open plains. After your crater exploration, enjoy a picnic lunch before beginning your journey back to Arusha. You'll arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, marking the end of your 6-day budget safari adventure.
